CNH | KEY CLUB General: Goals & Purpose • From a CLUB and DIVISIONAL level, use social media to expand unity, collaboration, and connect to members. • From a DISTRICT level, use social media to expand knowledge, resources, discussions, and tackle problems. • From an INTERNATIONAL level, use social media to expand opportunities and global outreach. *Goals and purposes may be interchangeable, but..

All levels of Key Club should promote both SERVICE and VOLUNTEERISM.

CNH | KEY CLUB International Objective PROMOTE: ‘Service’ and ‘Volunteerism’ through all weblinked social media sites, whether it be KeyClub.org or even personal Key Club blog sites. As a bonus, this will allow the search query and results on search engines when searching “high school volunteer/service organizations” to rise ‘Key Club’ to the top listing.

Key Club is currently only #3, KCI wants that #1 spot!

What will result of this? -Growth in KCI overall, as new service clubs will look towards Kiwanis to be chartered. -Increased attendance in Kiwanis sponsored events including workshops, charity partnered foundations, global outreach programs and opportunities, conventions, etc. -Increased opportunities to convey resources, knowledge, and information from KCI.

CNH | KEY CLUB Event Request Form Policy REMEMBER.. before advertising an event, one MUST complete an EVENT REQUEST FORM and gain approval of said event.

Remember to review the ERF, and make sure all advertisements are in compliance with the ERF Policies. Events should be planned at least a month and half ahead of time to allow the 3 week notice for ERF’s to be submitted into your Regional Advisor, as well as giving time for advertising leading up to the event.

CNH | KEY CLUB Work Integrity As a leader in the new modern age of technology, it is sometimes difficult to keep classified information from “leaking out onto the world wide web. 1. Keep specifics of work and work-related tasks under discretion from the general public. 2. When sharing private documents and/or resources, please remember to check your privacy and viewing settings of the application and/or website before releasing it. 3. Aside from the internet, information can be leaked via word of mouth, and in turn word of mouth can publicize onto the internet. Choose who you inform or tell information to wisely. 4. Remember to always try to keep a respectable image in the eyes of your division and members.
