THE TEAM

Our team has wide range of background in different fields. This vast experience allows us to offer a wide spectrum of ideas with better answers tailored to your needs.

Standing Tall, calm and with an admirable aura, Teddy Ochieng, an astute Managing Partner, passionately holds the realm of his law firm Ochieng Teddy Advocates.

Teddy received his university academic education from the year 2010 to 2014 and thereafter his professional education from 2015 to 2016 during which he studied post-graduate diploma in law and used his legal acumen to start his own law firm. Before then, he placed his triumph on record when he achieved admittance to the bar in 2017. His journey that followed has been more incredible and has considerable success to date.

His passion and professional expertise has seen him resolving corporate disputes, of which he has represented government institutions such as Kenya Tea Development Agency, Kenya Railways Staff Retirement Benefits Scheme, Kenya Livestock Research Organisation among others. Teddy’s end goal is to resolve dispute matters for all his clients in a strategic, efficient, and timely manner.

As a strategist and educator, Teddy is committed to leading a reliable and honest team of accomplished professionals who he and his clients can count on. The firm is proudly trained and known as experts in offering Dispute Resolution, Comercial Law, and Tax Teddy is a member of the Law Society of Kenya and Pastors Kids International Conference.

Anne specializes in intellectual property (IP) law and specifically in protection and enforcement of trademarks, patents, copyright and industrial designs, commercial aspects of IP such as IP licensing, due diligence, legal advisory on IP rights and IP litigation.

She is experienced in protection of the various IP rights in East and Central Africa as well as both regional and international registration systems such as the Madrid, ARIPO and OAPI.

She has represented clients in IP matters from various sectors including manufacturing, retail, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications and media.

Consequently, she was recognized by Managing IP stars in its 2019 rankings as a notable IP practitioner.

RADOL JULIE Advocate

Radol joined Ochieng Teddy Advocates in January 2021, having previously served at Millimo Muthomi & Advocates as a Trainee advocate with the responsibility of drafting legal documents, filing documents in court and attending court hearings.

As an advocate, she is vastly knowledgeable in Tax law and litigation. Radol advises the team on the best strategies of handing client’s cases. She is also responsible of assisting the team in preparing legal documents.

She is equally competent in representing clients in court.

GATWIRI I. NJUE Associate Advocate

Ms. Gatwiri I. Njue is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya having been admitted to the bar in June, 2018. She graduated from the University of Nairobi in 2014 with Second Class (Upper Division) Honours in LLB. She undertook pupilage with the firm of K. Itonga & Company Advocates and has been a practicing advocate of the High Court of Kenya ever since her admission to the bar. She has also engaged as a Tax Associate (III) at Price Water House Coopers (PWC) in the year 2015 where she handled various matters at the then newly established Tax Appeals Tribunal.

Ms. Gatwiri also worked at the National Environmental Tribunal (NET) as a researcher. She is adept at both litigious, environmental and corporate laws. In addition, she has interacted with and handled different clientele in the Insurance industry making her experience quite dynamic. She is focused on solving the problem with passion making her a great fit for the firm.

ERIC NGUNJIRI Lawyer

A passionate legal researcher and writer, Eric has passion in intellectual property (copyright) commercial and technology law.

As a legal advisor at Save a Life Foundation, he worked with different authorities and stakeholders towards regaining human rights of immigrant and refugee women from Rwanda, Congo and Ugandan.

At Ochieng Teddy Advocates, Eric gets to handle landlord/tenant issues, succession and conveyancing. He has shown great client communication and engagement. He takes time to involve a client while incorporating their goals, concerns, values and feedback. He manages transparency with a client while ensuring that their litigation concerns are well addressed.

RISPER MORAA Administrator/ Accountant

A dedicated and detail-oriented accounting professional, Risper Moraa has been meeting the accounting needs of corporates in the past 3 years. She holds a Degree in Commerce (Accounting option) and has completed CPA 6.

Due to her professionalism and responsiveness, Ripser doubles up as an accountant and a personal assistant to the Managing Partner of Ochieng Teddy Advocates.

She manages the director’s professional diary as she executes her roles in accounting.

ZEDEKIAH ODEGI OKOTH Clerk

With 7 years’ experience as a trained teacher, Zedekiah has taught in various schools in Nairobi and Kisumu specializing in Mathematics, English and Science. He was the acting head teacher at Raila Education from 2016 to 2018.

In his early years, Zedekiah served at Avenue and Madiany Sub County Hospital in Kisumu as volunteer in physiotherapy and he actively coordinated Anti Malaria Campaigns.

Zedekiah has gained tremendous experience in dealing with people characterized by his patience. His administrative skills in planning and legal documentation has proved that he is an effective clerk.
