Our Chinese journalist Ting Yan met up with Jordan Belfort, the “Wolf of Wall Street”, in Singapore. The other major district is the upmarket Salamanca. The grid of streets here offers a wealth of international and local couture. С
огласно легенде, греческий воин после битвы при Марафоне пробежал не останавливаясь от Марафона до Афин, чтобы возвестить о победе греков. Добежав до Афин, он успел крикнуть: «Радуйтесь, афиняне, мы победили!» и упал замертво. Именно эта красивая история послужила идеей включить марафонский бег в программу Олимпийских игр в Афинах в 1896 году. Athens Marathon предлагает уникальный опыт для каждого из участников. Так, в ходе первых современных Олимпийских игр в 1896 году в Афинах, а так же и в 2004 году на Олимпийских играх в тех же Афинах, дистанция пролегала по историческому маршруту. Marathon Race начинается в 09:00 от Marathon Start. Первые 4 километра дистанция идёт под уклон и бегуны двигаются по Marathonos авеню, затем поворачивают направо и через 2.2 км выбегают на круг, в центре которого расположен военный мемориал в память о погибших в битве при Marathon (Марафон Tomb). Далее дистанция ровная, а с 11го по 17-й км на отдельных участках идёт в гору и минуя Рафина Junction подходит к сложному участку на 20-м км. Миновав района Pikermi и 28 км, Последняя и самая сложная часть маршрута начинается от Геракаса и идет до Агия Параскеви (30 - 31stkm). Затем бегуны следуют по Mesogeion авеню, после чего начинается спуск до финиша. По курсу остаются Athens Music Hall, парк

The BATTLE of MARATHON, the inspiration of the birth of the Marathon race
T
he Marathon Race itself was born by the legend of a Greek soldier-messenger who ran from Marathonas to Athens carrying the precious message of victory. It is said that he ran the entire distance without stopping and burst into the assembly, exclaiming “Nenikékamen” (“Rejoice: We have won”) before collapsing and dying. It was this legend that led to the Marathon race, as it is known today, introduced during the 1896 Athens Olympic Games. Athens Marathon offers a unique experience to each individual participant. It is organized on the historical Olympic Marathon Course of the 1st Modern Olympic Games in 1896 and of the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. The Marathon Race starts at 09.00am from the Marathon Start Venue at Marathonas. The first 4 kilometers are rather downhill. The runners run along the Marathonos Avenue up to
the 4th km, when they turn right and enter the Marathon Tomb, which they follow for the next 2.2km. The course follows a rather circular route around the War Memorial for those that died during the Marathon Battle (Marathon Tomb), while it becomes flat from the 6th to the 10th km. From the 11th to the 17th km the course goes uphill at certain parts. Starting from the Rafina Junction, the course goes uphill again, while the most difficult part is until the 20thkm. As the runners pass along the district of Pikermi, they run through some, more or less, uphill parts of the course up to the 28thkm. The last and most difficult part of the course starts from Gerakas and goes up to Agia Paraskevi (30th – 31stkm). Then, the runners follow the Mesogeion Avenue, meeting flat and downhill parts of the course up
to the finish. Highlights of the course are also the Athens Music Hall, the Liberty Park, the recently constructed Katehaki Bridge, the War Museum, the Museum of Cycladic Art, the Presidential Residency. Since 2007, the Opening Ceremony of the Athens Marathon is organized in the archeological site of the Marathon Tomb, showcasing the uniqueness of this event. The opening ceremony leads to the Lighting of the Marathon Flame, a universal symbol of the Marathon movement. The Flame remains lighten throughout the year in the Marathon Race Museum in the City of Marathonas. The Marathon Flame has already been hosted by Boston (USA), Belgrade (Serbia), Genova (Italy), Shanghai and Xiamen (China), Vienna (Austria), Mumbai (India), Prague (Czech Republic), Omsk (Russia).

Global Gift is a synergy of likeminded people who believe that we can make a change in this world whether big or small. Using this network of what we like to call Global Gifters, fiscally responsible business´s, celebrities and a plethora of foundations and charities join together for a common cause. LL: What do you expect from the Celebrities you invite to Global Gift? Each and every celebrity supports us in different ways. They are aware of our cause and contribute however they can, be it directly or performing at our galas for example. In any case we try not to have expectations so we are always pleasantly surprised! LL: How much money did you raise? We have donated over 2 million euro to third party organizations plus what we have assigned to our project, Casa Global Gift. LL: How do you evaluate which project to support? We research each project in depth before deciding. For me personally any foundation that is focused on helping women and children deserves to be supported, but of course we have to focus on those projects that particularly inspire us, and this is usually down to the enthusiasm and drive of the people running and directing those foundations and charities. LL: How important is the international community for fund raising? It is very important as we are fortunate enough to have supporters around the world. We also benefit
local foundations at each event, ensuring that the funds raised in each territory are going back to help the local community. LL: After Cannes, Dubai, London, Madrid, Marbella, Mexico and Paris, will we see a Global Gift in China? We would love to bring Global Gift Gala to China – we are always expanding so who knows? Maybe in 2017! We are very excited as this year we have added Madrid, Edinburgh and Punta Cana to our long list of event destinations. LL: What is your idea of perfect happiness? Having my loved ones and family near me. Also when I´m able to see the direct results of those that we have been able to help around the world. LL: Your biggest fear? I´m not too keen on flying! LL: Your greatest extravagance? I love cake! LL: Your favourite holiday? A beach, good food and the people I love around me. LL: What is the trait you least like about yourself? I trust people very quickly which can be a good thing but some-times you can get hurt.
LL: What about the others? I like positivity! I try to avoid negative people. LL: The most overrated virtue? Beauty LL: What words or phrases do you use too often? Global Gifter! LL: What is your biggest regret? I try to move forward in my life and not focus on regrets. LL: What or who is the greatest love of your life? My mother LL: When and where were you happiest? I have been fortunate to have lived many happy moments in different times of my life, but I would say that I love being in my hometown Marbella – that always makes me happy. LL: What talent would have like to have? Speak many languages. LL: What is your current state of mind? With the upcoming gala on the 17th July in Marbella I would say I am in a busy state of mind! LL: What do you consider to be your greatest achievement? Building Global Gift Foundation to what it represents today and knowing how many people and organizations we help around the world. I am also very excited to be opening Casa Global Gift in my hometown Marbella. Casa Global Gift is a multifunctional space that will house 5 local associations and charities. There will be therapy & treatment rooms as well as physio-therapy areas – a special place for those that need it the most.
LL: Which living person do you most admire Eva Longoria, for always having the time to be there for those in need. For being smart, talented and funny as well as such a great friend. And of course for being the philanthropist that she is. LL: What is your motto? Life is short so make the most of it and smile!
LL: Your greatest asset? I´m a good listener LL Your favorite occupation? I actually enjoy working (most of the time!) and I love anything to do with décor. I also enjoy baking cakes! LL: What do you value most in your friends? Loyalty LL: Who are your heroes in real life? Those people that are behind the scenes. The ones that nobody sees, working every day in the hundreds of ONG´s and foundations helping the poor, sick and underprivileged. They are the real heroes.

严婷 电影 华尔街之狼 热映 许 多人通过莱昂纳多•迪卡普里奥的表 演看到你的生活经历 你现在也有了 许多中国粉丝 老实说 你第一次看 到这部电影时感觉如何 这部电影你 一共看了多少次 乔丹•贝尔福特 当我第一次去看这 部电影时 我受到了很大触动 电影 很棒 我非常喜欢 但是里面提到的 有些事 我可从来都没做过 比如 说 我们不会去买那些毫无前景 一 塌糊涂的公司股票 那不是我们的作 风 我做得更多的是风险投资 买入 的公司大多是具有发展前景的公司 这些公司有的表现出色 有的因为虚 报误报而表现不佳 只有这一点让我 觉得有些心烦 里昂那多的表演很出 色 他把握住了券商和训练的本质 我特别喜欢他的表演 我看过这部电 影的预告片 又跟着妻子和孩子去看 了正片 这部电影我一共看了五次 每次我都很喜欢 严婷 你曾说这部电影应该被当作一 个警示故事来看 那你最希望人们 在看过这部电影后得到什么样的警示 呢 乔丹•贝尔福特 我觉得最关键的一 点是 人们应该记住 在这部电影 中 你看到的并不是一个完整的我 你在电影里看到 最终我锒铛入狱

严婷 你说过“赚钱太容易了” 但 在大部分人看来并非如此 你认为关 键的差异在哪里 乔丹•贝尔福特 关键点在于 赚钱 最重要的技能就是说服他人 而我是 这方面的大师 我的生活就是最好的 证明 而且我有一套自己惯常使用的 套路 这个套路使用效果很好 而 且人人适用 我在全世界到处教授这 个套路 人们使用并取得了很好的效 果 对于这些学习了我使用过的套路 的人来说 赚钱不会是难事 严婷 你在矿产行业的投资收益不 错 例如铁矿石等 除此之外 你还 看好哪一领域 乔丹•贝尔福特 除仍然投资矿产资 源外 我现在还投资生物科技领域 但现在我主要是经营我自己的生意 我在努力建立一个“一条龙”式的学 院 一个线上和线下的大学 来帮助 人们在商务领域进阶 除了投资生物 科技和矿产资源领域外 其他领域我 只是旁观 而没有进行任何投资 严婷 你认为中国的经济前景如何 你是否考虑过在中国进行投资 乔丹•贝尔福特 我一直都相信“中 国奇迹” 事实上 如果有适当的机 会和人脉 我肯定会投资中国资产 但目前为止 我还没有发现 我很相 信一点 除了机会 人脉同样重要 我必需找到对的人 我相信 中国在 21世纪的后五十年里一定会成为全 球强国 而且10年后 中国就将超越 美国 但我认为美国仍然会拥有重要 地位 只是中国将举足轻重 再次重 申 我相信“中国奇迹”
严婷 对于那些刚刚进入金融业工作 的年轻人 你对他们有何建议 乔丹•贝尔福特 我的建议是要及时 行乐 同时也要守住自己的道德底 线 做一个正直的人 去学习如何说 服他人 并成为一个专家级的劝服者 和终结者 这也正是沃伦•巴菲特提 出的建议 我能给出的建议就是如 此 去努力销售 去说服他人 这是 我对金融领域的工作者所能给出的最 好的建议 保持道德底线 做正直的 人 要目光长远 严婷 在事业上 你将Gordan Gekko这个虚构的人物视为榜样 但在现实生活中 你最钦佩的人物是 谁 为什么 乔丹•贝尔福特 我很钦佩沃伦•巴菲 特 我钦佩他 因为他孜孜不倦地创
