The JCC of Greater Rochester will be relevant to every member of our Jewish community. The mission of the JCC is to strengthen Jewish identity and promote Jewish continuity through all stages of life. This is accomplished in an environment that provides opportunities for meaningful cultural enrichment, physical well being and social, educational and recreational experiences for individuals and families.

E

Congratulations to the Employees of the Month! MIKE TOMA, GESHER (May) Mike sets the bar in terms of producing original programming and capitalizing on opportunities to grow in his work. For example, he served as an archery instructor trainer and single-handedly developed Stop-Motion Animation and Digital Photography classes.

RHIANNON SIMPSON, COFFEE SHOP (June) Rhiannon took the lead as the Coffee Shop began accepting credit cards. She worked with our vendor to learn the new system, developed written instructions, coached fellow staff members, and offered troubleshooting solutions, ultimately resulting in increased revenue for the JCC.
