First impression of North bank: Was shoppi ng at DFO in Southbank until it close d. Leaving the b uilding and walking back to the city. Passed by the Seafarers Bridge and attracted by its elegant steel structural arches. The lighting at night more enhancing the spectacular feature and successfully attract me to walk across it to explore the other side over the Yarra River. But this had end up with disappointment where there is nothing, the area is dark and rare to see much people walking around.

Pedestrians and cyclist link over the Yarra River between Docklands and South Wharf. Connect the north and Southbank of the river, providing the formal entrance to the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. Was named in homage to the ‘Mission to Seafarers’ centre located nearby on the northern bank of the Yarra River represent Melbourne’s rich maritime history. Inspiration: Why can’t be the formal path to both North and Southbank?

the blue line showing the route how most of the tourist walk along in this area to get to visit those landmarks building and places. My proposal is to expand this tourism itenarary to the north bank and so the building can be more recognisable. Find out how to attrack people to visit the north from south bank. When Seafarers Bridge meant to be the entrance to Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, it also can be the guide to north while people come across from north and the routh can be smoothly leading to the north side.
