El nuevo BMW 4 Convertible es tan elegante como se ve; desde la parrilla rediseñada y la silueta alargada hasta la parte superior a medida. En el interior, el BMW M440i hace uso del diseño interior de la generación de la Serie 3. Solo unos pocos botones adicionales, como el interruptor del techo retráctil o el control de la calefacción del cuello, apuntan a una parte superior abierta. Y eso ciertamente no es nada malo. Sin embargo, a diferencia del BMW Serie 3, el Serie 4 Convertible viene de serie con asientos deportivos que se pueden ajustar electrónicamente a las necesidades del conductor. Una vez que se pisa el acelerador, el motor responde inmediatamente y distribuye los 374 HPs. a las cuatro ruedas. The All-New BMW 4 Convertible is as sleek as they come, from the redesigned kidney grille and stretched silhouette to the tailored top. Inside, the BMW M440i Convertible makes use of the familiar interior design of the 3 Series generation. Only a few additional buttons, such as the switch for the retractable roof or for the neck heating control are hinting at an open-top. And that’s certainly not a bad thing at all. Unlike the BMW 3 Series, however, the 4 Series Convertible comes standard with sports seats which can be electronically adjusted to the drivers need. Once you step on the gas pedal, the engine immediately responds and distributes 374 HPs. to all four wheels. And thanks to the new 48V Mild Hybrid system, I come to that in a second, there is also not the slightest sign of turbo-lag. The acceleration is so quick that you hit 62 MPH (100 KPH) in 4.9 seconds, before reaching the electronically limited top speed of 155 MPH (250 KPH). At no point in time did I feel that the engine had a hard time accelerating the M440i xDrive Convertible. The B58 engine simply impresses with a powerful blend of sovereignty, lightness and sportiness. The new BMW M440i Convertible is designed to provide an automotive platform to this type of customer and does so with an expressive design language, a powerful engine and superior driving characteristics.
