WHAT IS
CABARET?
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION Mad Cow Theatre and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Florida have been working together over the past 6 weeks to help students develop their talents and put together their own Cabaret. Students had the opportunity to work with artists performing in the 9th Annual Orlando Cabaret Festival to discover, experience, and rehearse their own Cabaret Performance. This project is a collaborative effort between Mad Cow Theatre and the Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida. It is supported by The City of Orlando Mayor's Matching Grant program and many generous individuals.
Cabaret is a celebration of song and personality; it can be personal and delicate, or bombastic and hysterical a painstaking journey or the party at the end of the trip‌ but always it is pure musical entertainment in an intimate setting.
