Mad Cow Theatre Mad Cow Theatre now in our 22nd season, is downtown Orlando’s destination for professional theatre. MCT was founded on the belief that the theatre is a dynamic and powerful means of social understanding, as well as a hugely entertaining art form. Through the combination of passionate, skillful acting and compelling, insightful writing, nurtured by an attentive and ever-changing process, Mad Cow presents entertaining works of theatre to an ever-widening audience — promoting, enhancing, and celebrating the human condition through art. With a passion for both classic and contemporary plays representing the best of American and world literature,
MCT is committed to story-telling with no boundary, to a wide range of audiences. MCT attracts the area’s most talented performers, designers, and directors. A mainstay of the company is its dedication to the process of creating theatre, incorporating in-depth rehearsal, and research periods along with a nurturing collaborative process. Outside Mullingar BOBBIE BELL (Director) is delighted to join this creative family. Credits at Mad Cow include Alfred Doolittle in Pygmalion, Mr. Kirby in You Can’t Take It With You, Father Jack in Dancing at Lughnasa, Old Actor in The Fantasticks, and 22 characters (including the title role) in Macbeth. For the herd, he has directed Skylight, The Brothers Size, Clybourne Park, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, August: Osage County, The Pitmen Painters, The Year of Magical Thinking, The Caretaker, and A Delicate Balance. He twice won the Florida Playwrights Competition for his plays Pascua De Flores and Of: A Play of Artemis.
Siviglia, Tosca, and The Magic Flute (Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra) and The Tender Land (UCF). Lisa studied painting at Parsons School of Design, Pratt Institute, and Cobalt Studios. She has won numerous awards for her painting and has written how-to-paint articles for North Light Publications. ERIC CRAFT (Lighting Designer) is excited to return to design lights for Outside Mullingar after having designed lights for The Royal Family, The Little Foxes, and Fun Home. Eric’s set designs at Mad Cow include Top Girls, The Brothers Size and A View from the Bridge. He has worked at Pioneer Theatre Company, Sacramento Theater Company, Utah Shakespeare Festival, and numerous other regional theaters. He would like to thank his family for all their support.
PATRICK BREZYAN (Anthony Reilly) is thrilled to rejoin Mad Cow, where he appeared as Don in Rapture, Blister, Burn. Patrick thanks Mitzi for another opportunity; Bobbie for the guidance and freedom; Joe, Karel and especially Whitney for the journey together; and Cori for her stellar management. Other favorite roles include George in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet; Rosmer in Rosmersholm, and Jerry in The Zoo Story. Patrick thanks his family and all his teachers.
Cori Menzies (Stage Manager) is so excited to be back at Mad Cow Theatre as the stage manager for Outside Mullingar. She was recently the assistant stage manager for the theatre’s previous production of Hand to God. She had graduated in 2015 with a BFA in musical theatre, but found a new love and passion stage management which she hopes to continue. “Much love to my family, friends, my adorable dog Gloria as well as the cast and crew for all the support!”

Outside Mullingar JOE REED (Tony Reilly) is happy to be working with The Herd once more. He Has been seen here in Twelve Angry Men, Company, and The Cradle Will Rock. Joe has performed at regional theatres all over the country, including Orlando Shakespeare Theatre, The Orlando Philharmonic, Meadow Brook Theatre in Detroit, GEVA in Rochester NY, Asolo Rep in Sarasota FL, and Stage West, in Springfield MA. Some of his favorite roles include Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, Friar Laurance in Romeo and Juliet, Pseudoleus in A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and Falstaff in Merry Wives of Windsor. He currently works for Universal as a performer. He has a Master of Fine Arts degree from Florida State University through the Asolo Repertory.

M.F.A in acting, Columbia University. GABRIELLA “ELLIE” PETRO (Sound Designer) is a graduate of Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania, where she studied technical theatre and design. Sound designs at Mad Cow include Buyer & Cellar and The Royal Family. In college, Ellie designed more than 20 productions, one of which received a Merit Award at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. She has worked on a show at the Edinburgh Fringe and with Pittsburgh community theatres.
ALISON REID (Costume Designer) has created costumes for Orlando Shakespeare Theater, Sarasota Opera, Florida Studio Theatre, Zach Theatre, and other companies in Florida and Texas. She designed costumes for Mad Cow’s The Little Foxes, Buyer & Cellar, as well as puppets and costumes for Hand to God. When she’s not creating costumes, Alison works on designing and fabricating puppets. Her most recent puppets were featured in Orlando Shakes’ production of The Little Mermaid. Alison holds an M.F.A. in costume technology from the University of Texas at Austin.
CLIFF PRICE (Scenic Designer) is excited to be back in the pasture for Season 22. He has been resident scenic/production designer for Encore! Performing Arts since 2002. Recent projects include Bad Jews and Buyer & Cellar for Mad Cow and Aida, Ragtime, Godspell, Hairspray, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee for Encore. He received a 2017 Broadway World Regional (Orlando) Best Scenic Design Award for Hairspray. Cliff thanks Mike Beahm and Clay Price for their love and support.

His voice experience runs the gamut from voice-overs, looping, and ADR to dialect and text coaching for such theaters as the Stratford Festival of Canada and the American Conservatory Theater. At ACT he served as the head of voice and speech training while coaching numerous productions. His local coaching includes shows for Orlando Shakes, Mad Cow, The Florida Studio Theatre and the Playwrights Round Table.

Playwright John Patrick Shanley (Playwright) John Patrick Shanley is from the Bronx. He was thrown out of St. Helena’s kindergarten. He was banned from St. Anthony’s hot lunch program for life. He was expelled from Cardinal Spellman High School. He was placed on academic probation by New York University and instructed to appear before a tribunal if he wished to return. When asked why he had been treated in this way by all these institutions, he burst into tears and said he had no idea. Then he went into the United
States Marine Corps. He did fine. He’s still doing okay. (From Dramatists)
