The Sealy News: Division 35 West Newsletter | March 2025
What’s splashing, seals!
Welcome back to The Sealy News! We are on the ELEVENTH issue which is actually crazy because that means we have one more newsletter to go. The month of February was PACKED for me but honestly one of the best months. To start, I got Officer of the Month at the February DCM! Not only that but my robotics team (shoutout 4625!) won the First Place Inspire Award at our competition, which is the highest award you can get at a tournament. Overall so thankful for the people around me and I cannot wait to see what’s next. Bye!!
Happy March seals!
Serving through Design,
Brian

This is my second to last note in volume 2 of the Sealy News. We have less than two months left of this term, and as I reflect I look back with gratitude. Thank you seals for all of your hard work. Your immense passion during Fall Rally season, drive to gain service hours, and expand your outreach has been inspiring. Although my time as LTG is coming to an end soon, I am not worried about what the future of D35W holds. Thank you Brian for your outstanding work on our newsletters this term. See you next month! (For the last time)
March of Dimes is a non-profit organization that addresses maternal health problems such as health inequity and health of infants and mothers. They have made sure every child is healthy and have raised over $20 million dollars for their cause since the polio outbreak over 100 years ago. Key Club has been actively working with them to fundraise money for patients.

Baldwin Park | Elections
As the 2024-2025 term comes to an end, the BPHS Key Club board elects our new sealie officers! On February 13th, 2025, Key Club held officer elections to welcome in the next group of Key Clubbers! Rain or shine, our sealies preserved and delivered exceptional speeches to solidify their officer spots. Although the entire board couldn’t make it, we had special guest appearances from our beloved LTG and wonderful LTG elect to witness Key Club’s new era coming into the light. With world’s colliding, from SV to Edgewood to our home club at BP, it was a true celebration of everyone’s hard work that made our elections run smoothly and successfully.

On February 11, our school’s ASB hosted a club rush for the incoming freshmen. The event was a great opportunity for Key Club to encourage the class of 2029 to join. We promoted our club by giving them the opportunity to take pictures with our frame and win candy. It was a successful event as we had many students sign our interest form. Overall, the event served as a great opportunity to promote the club and ensure our club keeps growing.
Los Altos | Slime Making
Social
”With consecutive meetings held every other Thursday, Los Altos Key Club hosted an on-campus event to welcome back our members! Hosted on March 13th, LAHS Key Club cabinet had invited all members to a slime-making social! As each cabinet member was assigned a role, our team has successfully prepared the room, placing table sheets, passing out bowls, distributing glue, and walking around with other necessary ingredients. With a full classroom, our members were able to bond with another, and enjoy the task of slime-making! As the social came to a conclusion, snacks were handed out to everyone as well as bags to take home their Key Club slime!

SKATING 4 PTP
Division 15 and Division 35 held their annual Skating 4 PTP event on Sunday March 9th, 2025! This fundraising event raised money for the Pediatric Trauma Program, one of our district’s preferred charities.
