most probably the most important tool for anyone in the entertainment industry. Information is vital for every kind of venture and knowing what to say and what not to say counts for a lot in anyone’s career. One can liken a profile to a Cv or resume. An interview involves questions and aanswers on the record. It can be a face to face encounter or on a question and answer over the phone or mail or text messages. A profile is like a CV or resume, already written, detailed, interesting,
involving dates and references in some cases. Nevertheless, out of three individual entertainers, one will not know what it is for and how to prepare it. There are a few pointers which will help many. Its wiser to have someone else prepare the profile for you incase you may leave out vital information. 1- Keep it simple but interesting. Be open and keep things simple and flowing. 2. Provide sufficient information linked to what you specialise in. Questions like what do you do, what else can you do, did someone else in your family do it as well, How you started, when you started, what was the turning point, who helped, what inspired it, what was your first great
work, how you do it and places you have perfomed. These are some of the questions to answer way before you are asked. 3-Avoid one word answers. Try to give a bit more in depth detail. If giving information, make sure you are not leaving another question or half answered questions. In all this though, give info you are able to, do not make up stuff. There is some information you may not be obliged to give, which may be too personal for you. That is perfectly acceptable. But that which you can give, give it. 4. Stay on top of things, avoid devulging weaknesses, build up your confidence, do not stutter but most of all do not fear.

HOT MUSENDO “Are we dressing down morality in industries....” T he beautiful and blissful Musendo. Most probably the most misunderstood social media celebrity, we stand to be corrected though as there are many others and after interviewing her, we wondered what the mindset will be. She afforded us the opportunity to talk with her and get a closer look into her story. We once published an article covering the different kinds of modelling in a lucrative industry taking root in Africa. In that article was lingerie modelling, body part models for example finger nail advertisements
for nail polish, bra advertisements, skin for soap advertisements, the stomach for weight loss products, the list is endless. She may as well fit in that class as she advertises some of the finest linen found out there. Doubling up as model and business woman, she is also adding and rising fast in acting. We visited Musendo’s social media accounts and conlucleded to also call her a fashionista. An article in particular to refer to is ‘Women’s guide on how to dress to kill’. She highlights some facts women miss on how to dress and look out of the ordinary fabulous making her a trend setter. On some posts fans request prices and sizes reflecting the impact it has carried. Her dressing can be savvy, sexy, modern, event oriented or
simple. Bedroom delights attire for the couples who want to keep things interesting. That high profile dinner, or night out with friends, or to just look sizzling hot. She originally is from Zimbabwe but is based in the UK, working and advancing her education. Musendo describes herself as a survivor, fighter, cool, calm, outgoing and fun person. Like any other star, there is persecution but the desire within has fueled success in fulfilling her dreams. Confident and convinced that life is bigger than a soap bubble, she does what she knows best and sells big online. Acting has attracted some lashing out and trolling and in all that drama we see her fan base bursting big in numbers. Fans rally behind her in support and the customer base widens. As people dress down morality in industries, some fly to the top in them. Here are some
highlights of the interview. Talking about your business in fashion and clothes, how did you start. Is it something you planned or it came as you go? I love fashion, to me it means being confident with your body. So it led me to my business which i began last year. I push as much as i can to move with times and show the latest trends in fashion. Being in a foreign land, how best can you describe or market Zimbabwe as better than there? Africa is blessed with a vibrant colourful culture. Being in foreign land has certainly showed me how Zimbabwe is a blessed country. My dream is to have my warehouse back home supplying everyone out here. Different items but mainly dresses. Which of your posts made you popular? What made me go viral was dancing and talking on a show called mandla’s lounge on facebook.
Whats your dream like? I want to build it up, Full time i want to work in my bussiness thats after i finish up with in University. Thats when i will setup the company properly and all the structures needed. Big dreams indeed, how old are you now, are you married. I was born on the 25th of April in 1995. I am not yet married, right now i am in University. I am balancing between school and business, so marriage not yet. Tells us something interestingly crazy about you? I have a low sex drive and still i am very romantic.
