THAT MEMPHIS VIBE I have kept my finger on the pulse of the Memphis music scene for many, many years now. This town has it’s own very distinct sound, an energy vibrating all the way down Beale St, in the smoky little bars, in the ghettos, in the city streets. This particular sound means SALVATION to my spirit. No matter where I am, no matter where I wind up, THIS sound keeps me grounded, keeps me sane, it takes me HOME. I had one thing to accomplish while I was living here : TO CAPTURE THAT MEMPHIS VIBE AND PUT IT INTO WORDS. I have done just that.
