"Manfredo De la Cruz� Biography I'm Manfredo De la Cruz Interiano. I completed a Master's Degree in Social Intervention at a university in Spain thanks to a scholarship from the Organization of American States. I studied at the State University of Guatemala, of which I later became a professor of History and Sociology. I like to travel and I can affirm that it has opened my cultural horizons. I have been to 29 countries of our wonderful world. I consider myself a cultural ambassador. For 12 years, I taught mathematics, arts, sciences and spanish at a primary school in an indigenous community in Guatemala. The environment was complex. On the one hand, there was no access by car or motorcycle and I had to travel on horseback or in a small canoe improvised by the villagers. That never stopped me. My colleagues and family members always told me what I was doing in such danger and why I did not ask to be relocated to a nearby school. I always considered that to be nonsense. These children always waited for me on the road and offered me the best of them. I learned so much from them that I even managed to learn to communicate in the indigenous language of this community. The students in my classroom will have many different experiences in life; Children with different abilities, ways of thinking, cultures and nationalities. In this order of ideas, I hope your support will strengthen our classroom. I am convinced that the fluid and responsible communication between you and me will be the key to the success of what we have proposed. The Annual plan that I have designed includes you in a very broad way. Activities are designed in such a way that parents are involved in their child's learning process.
