The next discussion, Portraiture in Painting, featuring an Important Early Portrait by Eugène Delacroix, will be held on December 3rd Presented by Elaine Banks Stainton, a seasoned auction veteran and former appraiser on PBS’s Antiques Roadshow, with deep expertise in Renaissance painting.
We look forward to fostering creativity and connection through this partnership.
EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS
ON THE TOWN EXPERIENCE:
A Day at Wave Hill - Our recent On The Town experience took us to the serene and picturesque Wave Hill in the Bronx, a public garden and cultural center. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Hudson River, the natural landscape was truly beautiful.
The day began with a leisurely stroll through the gardens, where the rich colors and peaceful surroundings allowed us to connect with nature in a meaningful way. After the garden tour, we explored the gallery, which beautifully blended art and nature, adding another layer of inspiration to the experience
Bridging Ages with Music: An Intergenerational Social Hour
We recently held our inaugural Bridging Ages with music event! Organized by talented 16-year-old Morris Cohen from Ramaz Upper School, this unique program brought together residents and young musicians from local high schools for an afternoon of live performances, engaging conversations, and heartfelt connections
With students from Collegiate, St. Bernard’s, Dalton, and more sharing their musical talents, the event beautifully showcased the power of music to bridge generational gaps.
As we look forward to future gatherings, we are thrilled to continue fostering these meaningful interactions that enrich our community and create lasting memories for everyone involved.
Author Series with Emily Nussbaum - Inspīr welcomed the next author from our Author Series to the community, acclaimed New York staff writer Emily Nussbaum. Watercolor Art Class
- Our recent watercolor classes are a vibrant celebration of creativity and connection among our residents Led by a passionate volunteer, the sessions provide an inviting atmosphere for participants to explore various techniques and express themselves through art.
