MARBURN AC A DE MY
SUMMER SCHOOL JUNE 18 – JULY 17, 2020
arburn’s Summer School is an immersive, academic-focused program built for students who learn differently and are eager to learn. Throughout the four-week program, students discover their academic strengths, build confidence, minimize summer learning loss, and prepare for the following school year. Instruction and lessons include evidence-based approaches that are delivered 1:1 or in small groups using multisensory teaching that promotes retention. Programs are specifically designed for students with average to above average intelligence, who also learn differently due to reading, writing, mathematics and attentional difficulties. While the best fit for our summer program are students with an official diagnosis of ADHD, dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dyscalculia, it is not a requirement that a child have an official diagnosis to attend Summer School. In addition to the morning program, an extended day option is available for students in our Lower Division Summer School. This program provides an opportunity to experience COSI’s fun, interactive, and educational programs while providing parents the flexibility of a full-day option.
