Learning spaces to spark imaginations

We know that having engaging learning environments can help support and inspire pupils in their academic studies. The right environment has a positive impact on children’s attention and focus and how they interact with their peers and teachers.

We are proud to prioritise investing in our school classrooms and facilities at both of our sites.

Taking over the site in July 2022, at Hymers Hessle Mount we have bold and ambitious plans to develop and enhance the school over the coming years. This will include fully refurbished classrooms, enhanced IT capabilities and facilities, building an on-site kitchen and developing the outdoor learning environment around the site. Much work has already been carried out – more will follow, all, of course, carefully timed around the school year and holidays.

At our Hymers College site we have a rolling programme of investment and upgrade throughout the school. Every year we make substantial investment into the school site to ensure that we offer the very best to our pupils.

Most recently we have installed a new, top of the range astro pitch and resurfaced all of the outdoor courts, we have built a new Sixth Form common room, upgraded a number of the science laboratories and redecorated and re-carpeted many classrooms. This programme of investment will continue going forward.
