Joining a Hymers community for life

From the moment your child joins Hymers they become part of a connected and supportive community of former pupils - Old Hymerians - for life. With nearly 9,000 former students spread across the world, there will always be an Old Hymerian who can offer help, advice and support to a current student.

We are indeed indebted to our Old Hymerians who give so much back to the School. This includes:

➔ Delivering assemblies on their career path since leaving Hymers;

➔ Helping facilitate work experience for current pupils;

➔ Taking part in ‘mock interview’ sessions to prepare existing students for university and job interviews;

➔ Joining our letter writing campaign with Year 6 pupils to explore how being a student at Hymers has changed over the years;

➔ Speaking to our Sixth Form-led societies which include Law, Engineering, Medical, Biology and Languages

Thanks to this vibrant and successful community, we are able to facilitate the opening of doors to onward opportunities for our pupils once they leave us here at Hymers.
