Co-curricular

We encourage our students to be busy and make the most of all the activities we have on offer, of which there are many.

In addition to the creative arts and sports activities we have timetabled, we provide a Sixth Form specific co-curricular programme for our students to become involved in.

Our pupils also enjoy a variety of field trips throughout their time in the Sixth Form. Most recently, these have included a Physics trip to Switzerland, Biology trip to Cranedale and CatZero yachting expedition.

Our senior sports squads have the opportunity to go on tour to destinations in the UK and abroad. The most recent trip took our hockey, rugby and netball teams on a tour to South Africa and New Zealand is planned for 2023.

Our students in Years 12 & 13 have enjoyed recent national recognition in a number of areas including National Schools Badminton Championships, ISGA Finalists, National Squash Trophy Finalists, National Representation for Science Olympiads, National Engineering Finalists, Cambridge Schools Debating Competition Finalists and Winners of the Arkwright Engineering Scholarship to name but a few.
