Admissions Entry to Junior School Prospective pupils to Years 4, 5 and 6 (excluding pupils from our associate school, Hessle Mount) will be invited to an Assessment Day usually held in January/February each year.

Assessment Day All applicants will be interviewed by the Head of the Junior School, Mr Doyle, and may be asked to write a short story. As part of the Assessment Day, all applicants will be tested in Reading, Comprehension and Mathematics.

The majority of new pupils will join the school at the start of an academic year. Years 4, 7, 12 being when many of our pupils join. We can accept pupils throughout the academic year, please speak with a member of the Admissions Team for more information.

A deposit of £150 is paid on acceptance of a place in the school and returned when the pupil leaves. The fees are subject to revision annually in July. We have around 190 pupils in Year 4-6, usually with three classes in each year group. The well-being of our students means everything to us, so we aim to make the transition between school years as smooth as possible.
