Marathon Kids Final Celebration
4
Rise and shine! - Well, at least for Mark Keppel Key Clubbers. Dedicated volunteers woke up bright and early before the sun rose to travel to Cal State University Los Angeles to help out at the annual Marathon Kids Final Celebration on Saturday, March 14th. Marathon Kids is an organization actively involved with families, schools and communities across the country. They are devoted to fighting child obesity and other health-related problems by providing health education and promoting healthy eating and exercise. Every year, they host a final celebration to commemorate participating children for running/walking a cumulative 26.2 miles. Volunteers helped set up by tying balloons, inflating the finish/starting line, and arranging the rewards and water bottles. Other jobs included choosing the music to pump up the kids, ushering, and greeting people as they walked in. Smiles spread across the stadium, from volunteers, to children, to the staff. For many volunteers, such as sophomore Amanda Lam, Marathon Kids Final Celebration holds a special place in their hearts She said, “Of all the events that Key Club offers, this is one of my favorites. You get to help set up and cheer the kids that ran 26.2 miles throughout the school year. As of now, I’ve been to this service 3 times, and I hope that Key Club will volunteer for this event many more times in the future. - Sally Duong, Historian
“This was my first time volunteering at a Marathon [Kids serivce], and it was a great experience. - Queenie Choi

“It was a really nice experience. Other than the fact that it was getting hot and the buckets and bags were heavy, it was nice to be thanked by those who came to get free compost. -Nikki Wang Photo: Calvin Ho and Nikki Wang
Athens Compost Giveaway On Saturday March 21, 2015, Keppel Key Clubbers gathered at Garvey Ranch Park to volunteer at the Athens Compost Giveaway. The Athens Compost Giveaway is an event where free compost for gardening is distributed to anyone who wants it! Volunteers split into three teams and chose to either shovel and load the free compost into cars, or to direct traffic to ensure that the entire process ran smoothly. Even though the volunteers only worked for three hours, they were able to assist many passionate gardeners and landscapers residing in Monterey Park. With all the shovelling and heavy lifting, the service was quite strenuous at times, but as more volunteers arrived, and people switched out with the newcomers, the task was not as tiresome. It was a nice surprise to see that there were quite a few dedicated Key Clubbers who chose to give up their Saturday mornings to volunteer at the giveaway instead of sleeping in after a long week. The Athens Compost Giveaway ended around noon, and the hard working volunteers headed home to enjoy the rest of their weekend.

March DCM Pie is delicious! It goes great with ice cream, fruit, and just recently... key clubbers? On Sunday, March 22, Key Clubbers from Division 10 South gathered at Almansor Park to celebrate the end of the 2014-2015 term. Katie Chan, Stephanie Yin, Calvin Ho, and Hannah Wong bravely participated in the pieing of IP officers as they were pelted with plate after plate of delicious whipped cream and toppings. Katie Chan faced real chocolate pie to the face, and Calvin Ho received a whipped cream hair wash to raise money for PTP. PTP, which stands for Pediatric Trauma Program, is a program affiliated with Kiwanis International that works to prevent and help improve the outcomes of traumatic experiences for children. After the pieing, attendees participated in an entertaining scavenger hunt. Groups ran around the park in search of street team members and I.P. Lieutenant Governor, Tracy Lee, to fulfill their tasks. Tasks ranged from spelling “key is life“ (above) to dancing to answering Key Club history questions.

“The moment I got pied with actual pie. I started crying with happiness because of I babies I had saved!” -Katie Chan
“Being pie’d in the face was not what I planned when I washed my hair prior to the DCM, but it was worth it raising money for Project Eliminate. Also, it was bittersweet feeling realizing that my term serving as a board member and division leadership team member was over” 9 -Hannah Wong
DCON
What exactly is one of Key Club’s biggest event, DCON? To no surprise, it’s nothing special. Same old. It’s just four letters, and what could possibly make
four letters one of the biggest and most exciting events? Luckily, DCON is not just a boring group of four letters! DCON stands for District Convention, an annual event within Key Club in which we spend three days to meet new people, learn more about leadership skills through workshops, and celebrate the progress we have made to support the Pediatric Trauma Program (PTP)! In addition to DCON’s amazing learning experience, lots of excitement and fun will still call out to you during the event! Within these three days, you will create memories that you might even remember for the rest of your lives. Some of my most favorite things during DCON included general sessions, governor’s ball, and the learning experience.
10
General sessions for DCON will take place on all three days of the event. Within the general session, everyone gathers in a large room. Everyone, as in every Key Clubber present at the DCON event! For starters, it’s a huge audience, but what else? For this year’s California-Nevada-Hawaii DCON, we had a variety of shows that were performed for us, including talent shows from fellow key clubbers. In addition to the fun of the shows, we learned about rankings of Regions, Divisions, and even individual clubs for titles such as highest amount of service hours per Key Clubber, highest amount of money raised for PTP, most increased membership, and so on. Lastly, of course, there was always lots of cheering and spirit battles! Governor’s Ball is a dance that takes place the on the second night of DCON! This was one of my favorite experiences, as music rang loud, and dancing was open to everyone! Despite it lasting only 2 hours, it was still a great event to have a little fun and celebrate with your new and old friends. There was lots of fun involved with new friendships, but that does not necessarily reign higher than the learning experience you receive during DCON! Throughout the convention, each day had its own set of workshops, in which you can learn more about how to be a leader. This includes workshops on speech, leadership, PTP, Key Club positions, and so much more. I especially found these workshops to stick with me in memory and heart, even though a month has passed since DCON ended. The workshops honestly help you see through eyes of others, and allow you to better understand how to accomplish more and be an overall better person. DCON is an amazing Key Club event that should NOT be missed through your high school years. You’re offered the opportunities of friendship and self-growth, not to mention a buttload of fun! I hope this article inspires you to attend next year’s DCON within the California-Nevada-Hawaii District at Sacramento.

Messages From IP Board (MKHS & D10S) 12
President: Cathy Liu I think perhaps the best decision I have made in my high school career was joining Key Club. In the past four years, especially this previous year, I have learned so much about people, myself, and even about life in general. The club and I have both matured together, but the credit isn’t mine alone. Throughout the struggles of facilitating this club, I have faced many obstacles that I wouldn’t have been able to overcome without the support from my board members and friends. This year, we were able to achieve numerous goals, one of the most drastic being the establishment of the House System. Albeit, the system is still a work in progress, but I know that it will evolve in the future and continue to bring our members closer together. The end of my term is such a bittersweet feeling. I’m so happy that I was able to serve this club, and I hope that you all feel the same way. Although I am excited to move on from high school and Key Club to the unknown territories of adulthood, there is no doubt that there are certain aspects of Key that I will sincerely miss. I’m going to miss seeing the smiles I put on faces at service events. I’m going to miss meeting the spirited, passionate Key Clubbers, each unique in their own way. I’m going to miss my beloved board members, whom I wish the best to in the future. Most of all, I’m going to miss how this organization was able to inspire me and provide me an outlet to help those in my community. I have such high hopes for next term and the new Mark Keppel High School Key Club board. I know that this club is in good hands, and I am proud of what MKHS Key Club has accomplished and will continue to accomplish in the future.
Vice President: Emily Lien Secretary: Stephanie Yin My name is Stephanie Yin, and I had the honor of serving as Mark Keppel Key Club’s secretary for the 2014-2015 term. As secretary, I was responsible for updating all members’ hours and function points, as well as completing a detailed Monthly Report Form and submitting it to the Lieutenant Governor every month. With a club as big as ours, these responsibilities were, at times, overwhelming, but I can honestly say, without any exaggeration, that this position has taught me so many useful life and business skills: professionalism, time management, and Microsoft Excel. In addition, serving in such a crucial position has deepened my appreciation for all aspects of Key Club. Seeing firsthand how many hours the members serve every month is truly inspiring and pushes me to become more dedicated to service myself. One of my favorite events was Rose Floats, because it really showed how amazing our club is when it comes to service; I remember calculating the hours and being astonished at the magnitude of the number. Because of moments like these and many more, I am truly thankful to have had the opportunity to serve this amazing club along with the rest of board. This past term was great, but I am confident that this upcoming term will BEE even better!
Treasurer: Jessica Ly It was great to have been able to serve as your treasurer! As treasurer, I set up fundraisers, and managed the money coming in and out of the club. I’m sure Angie, your current treasurer, will do an outstanding job taking care of the club’s finances. I hope that Key Club continues to grow and expand into an even more amazing club!
Bulletin Editor: Ashley Yamvinij Hello! I’m Ashley, and I served as your Bulletin Editor this past term. I was responsible for sharing news and updates, responding to all emails, and keeping track of sign-ups. The experience has been rewarding in numerous ways, and I thank you for the opportunity. We have accomplished a lot together this year as Mark Keppel Key Club, especially with the addition of our House System, as we hope to instill friendly competition, blue turtle bonding, and Key Club spirit in our members. In the future, I hope that more people will fall in love with Key Club as I have, and will continue to volunteer at service events to better themselves and their community. I appreciate the time that we spent together, and I am happy and proud to have served as your 2014-2015 Bulletin Editor!
Historian: Darren Tu Although brief, I really enjoyed my time as Mark Keppel Key Club’s historian, as I was able to make several new friends and gain valuable skills. When the position first opened up in the middle of the year, I was quite skeptical about undertaking the job; however, through the encouragement of members on the board, I decided to go for it and was quite astounded when I got the position. My duties mainly involved taking pictures of various Key Club events and writing articles about them; however, I’ll never forget my first assignment as historian, which was to photograph Fall Rally, one of the biggest Key Club events of the year. The day ended with over 700 pictures to look over, and after sifting through them, I ended with less than 20 usable photos. It was this day that I realized things weren’t going to be that easy. However, the satisfaction from seeing peoples’ praise for something I believe I put all my effort in really makes those grueling hours of editing and filtering through photos worth it. My term may be over, but I’m still pursuing a greater role in Key Club as I’ve recently applied for the division board position and I hope to able to serve you in the future as the Division Tech Editor. I have high hopes for the our club’s future, and know that our future board will do well.
Publicity and D10S Fundraising Coordinator: Caitlin Chan Hello Mark Keppel Key Clubbers! It’s been a pleasure working as your publicist and one of the division fundraising coordinators for the 2014-2015 term. This past year has allowed me to experience the greatest combination of responsibility and enjoyment, and I couldn’t have asked for anything different. From creating your advertisements and tank tops for fundraising to painting backdrops and frames for events, this position has given me the opportunity to do what I love for the club I love. As for the upcoming year, I hope you all come to enjoy this club as much as I have and still do. Maybe you’ll discover your favorite services when you do LA Food Bank or any of the walks, like I did, or maybe you already have! Nevertheless, look forward to another fun year in Key Club, blue turtles!

Sergeant At Arms: Mollie Pirkle In the 2014-2015 term, I served as MKHS Key Club’s Sergeant At Arms. The SAA is basically the socials planner and club facilitator. I loved everything about my term, ranging from little things, like making club meetings run smoothly, to large festive events, like Fall Rally. One of the best events in my term was running the Christmas DCM, where we had 3 hours of ugly Christmas sweaters, games, and prizes. It was so rewarding to see everyone have fun because of something I created. Key Club always has a way of turning typically boring things into something fun, making it twice as worth going to! Rose Floats during December is great because not only do you get to serve the community, but you are also able to work alongside your friends from all different divisions. In terms of spirit, DCON was the most memorable, since spending time with friends from all over Cali-Nev-Ha is always worth CELEBRATING. Can’t leave Fall Rally out; sitting next to Cathy during spirit sessions while they were blasting all of our favorite songs still makes me smile thinking about it. Not going to lie, I’m actually smiling while reminiscing about my Key moments right now. Adventures with friends across R13, late night hang outs, and events from different divisions are the things that make Key Club so unforgettable. I hope every one of you is able to experience the same bubbly, happy, moments I got from Key. Thank you, and have a term worth CELEBRATING, 2015-16!
Senior Representative: Nikki Wang Hi! I’m the IP Senior Representative. As the Senior Representative, I supported the other officers in their tasks and helped Key Clubbers with any questions or concerns that they may have had, specifically, communicating with seniors. Serving this past term, I have learned many new things about the difficulties that officers have. Having a title isn’t just for show. When I first started out as a freshman Key Clubber, I thought that representatives didn’t do much, since all they did during the meetings was stand around and listen to the president give the announcements. In reality, representatives work behind the scenes to help the president and other officers carry out their jobs. I’m glad that I was able to become a representative and experience what they do for the club; I now appreciate what the representatives of any club do more than before, because I know what they go through in order to help the club. As for memorable events, all Key Club events are memorable! The events may be far, and sometimes extremely early, but the experiences from them all are equally memorable, even more so when you’re doing them with friends. “How so?” you may ask. At every event you go to, there is an opportunity to make more new friends, as well as memories with the friends you already have. I know that the number of hours needed to be active in Key Club is a lot, but if you count up all of the events that we provide you throughout the year, you’ll see that we have provided services that enable you to achieve a lot more than the hours you are required to have. Think of it this way: they’re not hours that you need to be active; they’re hours that provide new, memorable, and fun experiences! I hope that in the future, Key Clubbers will look at their time in Key Club as a wonderful experience, just as I do now.
Representative: Angie Chen

Hi, I’m Angie Chen, your Key Club Representative from the 2014-2015 school year. With deep regret and heartache, I would like to say my last farewells to my home club. This year has been amazing for me, because my experience as a board member has been nothing but good memories and valuable experiences. I hope to cherish those memories with my Key Club ohana when I am far, far away, studying at Stanford or another equally prestigious college. When I drop my first mixtape, I will surely include a message of thanks to Key Club on the back. Lastly, I would like to take this opportunity to say JUST KIDDING!! YOU’RE STUCK WITH ME FOR ANOTHER YEAR!!
Representative: Amanda Xaypraseuth Hi, my name is Amanda Xaypraseuth and I am your IP Key Club Representative. Being representative allowed me to extend my knowledge about Key Club and how it operates. My term was great, and I could not have asked for a better one. My term as Key Club Representative granted me such an amazing experience, which further expanded my love and passion for both Key Club and volunteer work. During my term, I was able to meet amazing people who are as zealous as I am for this organization. Everyone’s enthusiasm for this club inspired me to do more for the community and do as much as I can for it. Being representative was such a self-fulfilling position and made me realize that I want to be more involved. I was able to learn what happens “behind the scenes” of creating services and fundraisers. I also realized how much Key Club, as a district, has accomplished. Attending DCON 2015 was a real eye opener that inspired me to do more for the community and motivated me to make our home club better. For my next year in Key Club, I’ll be serving as your Vice President and I ensure you all that I will do my best to make Key Club the best. For one thing, I will definitely set up more services. My goal is to increase enthusiasm, help home club members realize how great Key Club is, and inspire them to volunteer more, just like how other Key Clubbers did to me. I have high hopes for the upcoming term, as my Key Board and I have a lot in store for you all. Just you wait.
Sophomore Representative and Division Leadership Team Member: Hannah Wong “Everybody can be great...because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.” -Martin Luther King Jr. Hello, my name is Hannah Wong, and I served as the Sophomore Representative for Mark Keppel Key Club during the 2014-2015 term. Being the only underclassman on board, I didn’t have that much of an idea of what I was getting into. Serving alongside others has helped me improve my leadership skills and improve myself as a person. What I love is that I can say I am part of this amazing student-led community service organization called Key Club, a club where high school students from all over the world are changing the world and making a difference. With every service event and all the money raised for various charities, we are truly making a difference in our home, school, and community. General meetings, board meetings, division council meetings, division leadership team meetings, training conferences, club/division fundraisers, different socials, amazing service events, Fall Rally, Conclave, District Conventions, and various division or region events, all make you think how so many things have happened in such a short amount of time. It’s so hard to pick a favorite or most memorable event. However, I can say one that has more impact on me, was attending District Convention 2015, where I had the chance to serve as a Sergeant-at-Arms Captain, which was an amazing experience. After closing session, I reflected on how the club has grown with the leadership of the amazing club board. I am proud to have served alongside such amazing leaders, and thankful for having the opportunity to serve as a board member. For the 2015-2016 term, I see a bright future for the club, I hope to see a greater attendance at division, region, and district events, possibly seeing some attending international events, and to see the club go above and bee-yond and to reach new heights. I can’t wait to see what the 2015-2016 board will achieve, and let the journey begin. “This is not a goodbye, but a see you later.”

D10S Executive Assistant: Katie Chan Serving as DIvision Executive Assistant for the past 2014-2015 term has been an amazing journey. To be able to learn so much more about what Key Club has to offer, and to be offered many opportunities, was a wonderful experience. From sacrificing my time to work on Key Club assignments, to answering Key Clubbers’ questions, every single thing I did was worth it. I just want to say that EVERYONE is a leader! Always BEE who you are because I know that you will do a TURTLEific job
D10S Street Team Co-Captain: Sean Chung As a freshman, I was really skeptical about Key Club at first. When I came out of middle school, I wasn’t much of a social person, nor did I want to scream cheers in front of hundreds of people. What changed that was the social aspect of Key Club, the warm welcoming that i received, and the friendly hugs that i got made me feel right at home. I saw these key clubbers as more than just friends; they were family to me. That’s what I believe makes Key Club different from all the other clubs that I have joined. Just the amount of welcoming and love that you receive makes it a once in a lifetime experience. Many people say that Fall Rally sparked their interest for Key Club, but that’s not my case. What sparked my interest was St. Judes Walk during my freshman year. I was asked by a previous Lieutenant Governor, Jason Basulto, to single handedly spirit battle a college fraternity. After accepting the challenge and ultimately winning the spirit battle, I inspired Jason to be a better LTG. But in all honestly, I think it’s Jason who inspired me to continue my Key Club career. After that event, our previous LTG, Tracy Lee, persuaded me to run for a division position called, “Spirit Coordinator.” Eventually I gave it a shot and obtained the co-captain position. Making cheers might sound easy, but once you’re in a room with 15 other people screaming, “I FEEL GOOD” at eachother, things get a bit hectic. The spirit coordinator position doesn’t just teach you how to lead others, but it also teaches you how to communicate and work with others in various situations. But honestly, if anyone is thinking about running for a position, I have a few words of advice for you: just do it. There are only three chances in high school to obtain a Key Club position, so take advantage of it, and go for it.
D10S Street Team Member: Calvin Ho HELLO! I am Calvin Ho and I was a spirit coordinator of Division 10 South. Being a spirit coordinator was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Along with my fellow spirit coordinators, I helped create cheers for the division to use at region events, fall rally south, DCON, and much more. Cheers are a great way to pump your spirit up and get you comfortable at events. Also, we use cheers to showcase our spirit and our pride in our own division. Being a spirit coordinator is a lot of hard work. We had to meet almost every week to come up with main cheers, side cheers, and comebacks to use during spirit battles. It was all worth it when fall rally south came around. We had tons of fun coming up with cheers and teaching the division them. Hearing the division cheer with all its pride and spirit gave us a huge sense of accomplishment. I will never forget my term as a spirit coordinator. I’ve gained experiences and a very close team that I can call my family.

President: Stephanie Yin I am extremely excited to be serving as Mark Keppel Key Club’s president for this term! I have big plans already, and I am determined to take the club to new heights using my past experience as club secretary, representative, and division spirit coordinator. I am confident in my ability to lead, organize, and plan events. In addition to my passion for Key Club, I love painting, singing (badly) and dancing (badly), staying up late performing scholarly activities, and going on wild adventures with my friends. I hope that you, the members, will get to know me this term and join me in these fun pastimes (in addition to the service, of course). One of my goals for this term is to create a stronger bond between the many diverse members of this club! So please do not be afraid to approach me, whether you are seeking an answer to a Key Club-related question or a friendship.
Vice President: Amanda Xaypraseuth Hi, my name is Amanda Xaypraseuth, and I am your Key Club Vice President. I really like to eat, sleep, dance occasionally, and travel. If you ever want to get me a present, get me anything that is related to Avatar: The Last Airbender, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Pokemon, or Sherlock. As your Key Club Vice President, I hope to achieve a great amount of participation in Key Club and increase enthusiasm for volunteering. Being Key Club Vice President requires one to be responsible, diligent, and persistent with her work ethic. There is a lot in store for Key Club Vice President, but the work will be enjoyable. Anything Key Club related is fun, in my opinion, and I love having work to do for the club. I am very outgoing and willing to help anybody in need! If you have any questions, feel free to message me on Facebook!
Hello! I’m Ashley, and I am serving as your Secretary. I am in charge of managing your service hours and the club’s records and files. Outside Key Club, I enjoy snacking on treats, spending time with friends, and catching up on sleep. Feel free to approach me and start up a conversation; I won’t bite! Even greetings and smiles are appreciated! Get to know me, share some food, share the Key Club love, and let’s have a great year!
Treasurer: Angie Chen Hello children. I’m Angie, and I’m excited to be your professional treasurer for the 2015-2016 term. You can call me Queen Angie of Arendelle, Comedian Angie, or just “professioenal treasruesrur.” I am li-te-ra-lly a blue turtle, because I’m in the swim team and am extremely slow on land. However, some people tell me that I am more like a Chihuahua, since I attempt to fight people much taller than me. This is not the case, since there is nobody taller than me, and if you say otherwise, I will fight you. Don’t think that I won’t. I look forward to our next year in Key Club together! Despite my black clothing and seemingly unfriendly face, I’m actually very approachable! Feel free to message me if you have any questions about the club. Each answer I give you comes with a complimentary, mandatory joke that will be hilarious beyond belief.
Meet the New Board
Secretary: Ashley Yamvinij

Sergeant At Arms : Calvin Ho HELLO! I am Calvin Ho, Mark Keppel key club’s Sergeant-at-Arms. I help keep order at events and meetings. I also help the rest of the board members with various tasks. My goals and plans for the the term include getting all of our members active in the club, encouraging the members to attend more division events, inspiring more people to attend DCON, and lastly, winning Club of the Year and many other awards at DCON. I want our home club to be recognized at DCON, so we can make other clubs strive to be like us. With hard work, spirit, and service, I believe we can achieve these goals.
Bulletin Editor: Kelvin Ko Hi, I’m Kelvin Ko, and my position is Bulletin Editor. As a Bulletin Editor, I deal with sign ups and emails, and I update the members with meeting recaps and upcoming events! This year, I plan on promoting Key Club as a whole for this term and encouraging people to be more active. I love to play sports, mostly tennis and swimming. Lastly, I love Key Club!
Historian: Sally Duong Hello! I’m Sally Duong and I’ll be your historian for the 2015-2016 term! I take photos of you guys during MKHS key club events, write articles, and create the monthly newsletter. I love to play tennis--if you see somebody with a blinding shorts or sock tan, thats probably me...--and do arts and crafts. This upcoming year is going to be amazing and I cannot wait to document it! My goal is to make captivating newsletters and take great photos so we can share these unforgettable moments together. I’d love to meet each and every one of you guys, so don’t be afraid to say hello!
Publicist: Becky Su Hi everyone! My name is Becky Su and I’ll be your publicist for the 2015-2016 term. A little bit about me: basically Forever 21 and Photoshop are my life. I might not have the most approachable face, but please do say hi to me or ask me any questions you have! As publicist, I design all the graphics in the club (gear/fliers/web graphics) to advertise and promote upcoming events or Key Club itself. Please look forward to my work!
Senior Representative: Ryan Chan Hi! My name is Ryan Chan and I am the 2015-2016 Senior Representative. During my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, going on the computer, and hanging out with my friends. I’m usually able to do all of these on the weekends, unless I have a service or DCM I must attend. However, I am no less enthusiastic about going to these Key-related events because I simply enjoy Key Club so much. During my term, I plan to make the experience of the members of Key more comfortable and fun as we all help make the world a better place!

Junior Representative: Tiffany Joa Hello, Keppel Key Clubbers! I’m Tiffany and I’m serving as this term’s junior representative. I play the violin and I love to meet new people. I am so excited to share my passion for service and to see how far our club will go in our efforts to save lives and give back to the community. I promise to do my best to make this term better than good for all of you.
Sophomore Representative: Andy Lau Hello Key Clubbers! I am your sophomore representative, Andy Lau, for the 2015-2016 term! I enjoy playing within Keppel’s orchestra, competing with the speech and debate team, and of course, participating in the beloved Key Club. From my three years of speech and debate, I have grown to really enjoy talking and helping new people I meet within Key Club and other service events. Now as Key Club’s sophomore representative, I will help the upper board and distribute information to my fellow classmates. With this position for the 2015-2016 term, I have more plans than to just help the upper board and spread information! In addition to those duties, I will try my best to be an individual leader to support and advance Key Club forward! Key Club is a club with great people who contribute to the community. I believe that I have the dedication and organization skills to contribute to the club as well.
