The transition from a small independent insurance broker to an established national brand, meant that the existing brokers required additional support and training. In order to enhance their skills and knowledge, JFT worked with the organisation to help them with the development of a bespoke e-learning system to support the delivery of the Level 3 Certificate in Insurance Claims Handling Process. The training was delivered through a ground-breaking combination of classroom based instruction and e-learning, which allowed employers to maximise return on investment and minimise time away from work. The move towards e-learning also enabled participants to access learning materials at any time, giving them more flexibility with how they completed their training. James Hamilton, Operations Manager at James Fisher Training commented: "We are keen advocates for flexible learning methods and believe this new innovative approach to delivering IF4 will open up new opportunities for people wishing to enter into the insurance profession." The insurance market is a tough one. Market saturation and stiff competition for customers means that providers have to adapt to stay relevant and profitable. At the same time, margins are thin – and getting thinner. To make these figures work, insurance companies need to keep their claims handling processes as efficient and cost-effective as possible. That’s where the Certificate in Insurance Claims Handling Process comes in – a qualification aimed at meeting the needs of today’s claims professionals. This course focuses on the claims handling process which is the core activity to any insurance company.
