A WELCOME FROM THE PRODUCERS A very warm welcome BACK to Yeadon Town Hall for our third production of West End And Friends! After such a traumatic and devastating time for the creative arts industry we are so pleased to be back where our journey began in the fabulous Yeadon Town Hall. We are delighted to be bringing you our biggest and most exciting line-up to date with the biggest names in the musical world, as well as introducing some of the most exciting future stars of the industry. Tonight on stage you will be listening to the very best of the best, and we are so grateful that they have given up their time and travelled from all over the UK to perform for us tonight. Our show was born in 2019 out of a desire to make a difference, and to give back in the only way we know how… musical theatre! We remain committed to donating all proceeds from our events to charities across the UK. In 2019 we raised over £3589 for Children With Cancer UK and we are pleased to be supporting the fantastic Mencap this year. “Everything we do is about valuing and supporting people with a learning disability, and their families and carers. Our vision is a world where people with a learning disability are valued equally, listened to and included.” We would like to thank Jamie, Jordan and the team here at Yeadon Town Hall for welcoming us back and allowing us to perform here. The transformation both front and back of house is incredible. Please do visit the bar in the interval if you’ve not been already, to support this fantastic building. Our thanks must also go to not only the cast of the show, but those people who make the show possible. Front of house, the technical crew, chaperones, graphic designers, set designers and our sponsors. Without you, we wouldn’t be able to produce this show! Thank you also to everyone who has sponsored Tom in this year’s London Marathon, helping to add over £1000 to tonight’s grand total! There is of course still time to donate, by visiting our website www.westendandfriends. com. Tom has promised not to talk about the marathon for 10 minutes every time £1 is donated! We’d also like to thank the Moglias for their continued support and encouragement (we think…), and to Futurist Theatre Productions and Leeds Musical Theatre Company for agreeing to perform with us this eveving. Please share any pictures from before or after the show in front of our press board using #WestEndAndFriends and tagging @WestEndAndFriends on social media After 18 months of having our hands tied, we really do hope that you enjoy the show.
