Welcome to Yeadon Town Hall Well… what a year it’s been! We were just putting the finishing touches to our Spring / Summer 2020 guide when the COVID-19 pandemic hit, and none of us could have imagined what the next eighteen months would have in store.

With our income almost completely removed, and having unfortunately missed out on two vital rounds of government funding, we have managed to survive thanks to small grants and donations from local organisations and our wonderful community. We can’t thank you enough. You won’t be surprised to read that the Town Hall team still managed to keep busy during lockdown! We finished off restoring many of our internal areas and the building’s external restoration also took place, which included major repairs to the roof and our stunning stained glass windows… plus the revival of Yeadon’s Clock Tower! The Town Hall will look impressive both inside and out for many more years to come. We now look ahead to the rest of 2021 with excitement. Yeadon Town Hall’s COVID-19 Policy We’ve taken extra measures to ensure that you feel safe returning back to Yeadon Town Hall. This includes the installation of additional hand sanitising stations, the regular cleaning of touch points, and we’ve even bought an industrial fogger to ensure our auditorium is blitzed from cold and flu bugs between performances! We have done everything we possibly can to ensure the safety of our audiences, team members, cast and crew. We’re also allowing ticket exchanges up to 24 hours ahead of a performance or event if you are not able to attend due to COVID-19. We will, of course, be continually monitoring and responding to government guidelines and regulations.

Yeadon Town Hall’s Restoration When you next come along to visit the Town Hall, you’ll notice it looks very different compared to the last time you saw us. The interior has been almost completely refurbished now. We’ve repainted the Main Auditorium (including our new starry ceiling!), plus refurbished the foyer and public entrance ways. The Wharfedale room is now a stunning VIP area and we’ve also created new backstage dressing rooms to incorporate better facilities for our performers. The colour scheme throughout has been specifically chosen to reflect the historical character of the building, and we hope you agree that the Town Hall looks fantastic! We wanted to keep all the quirky qualities of our stunning building, whilst giving it a modern makeover. With help from Leeds City Council, the Town Hall has been treated to extensive external refurbishments too. This work includes major repairs to the roof, exterior walls, stained glass and restoration of the clock faces and clock tower. It’s been a real treat for the community to hear the Yeadon clock (renamed Peates Clock by local fans) chime once again. Work has also been carried out by Stone Edge, a specialist restorer of historic stone work. We’re committed to preserving the Town Hall for the future, while making sure we give a nod to its traditional heritage and look after its important architectural features. Our restoration work is ongoing, and there is always an area of the Town Hall we wish to improve - next up is a total kitchen refurbishment - but we’re incredibly proud of the restoration work completed so far. The team really could not have done any of it without the help and support of the local community.

Support our restoration Yeadon Town Hall CIC is extremely grateful for the support received from organisations, charitable trusts and individual donations throughout what has been a turbulent and difficult year. However, there is still a long way to go to fully fund the regeneration of our community landmark. Can you help us to raise the funds we need to restore Yeadon Town Hall?
JOIN THE WALL OF FAME Don’t miss your chance to be part of the Wall of Fame, a beautiful display of memories, dedications and celebrations situated in our Town Hall Tavern. You can choose any name and message to go on your plaque, which will be added to our Wall of Fame. Corporate plaques are also available for businesses and organisations wanting to support the town’s new social enterprise. Booking information Online www.yeadontownhall.co.uk You will be given the option to print your tickets at home at no cost. Alternatively, you can show your ticket on a mobile device or receive your ticket by post for an additional delivery fee. By phone We advise all guests book online using the links found on the Yeadon Town Hall website.

Each seating plan is subject to change per event. Detailed seating layouts can be found on each show’s individual booking page on our website www.yeadontownhall.co.uk
However, for TicketSource events, please call 0333 666 33 66. The TicketSource Box Office is available Monday - Friday between 9am 5.30pm. Major debit and credit cards are accepted. Ticket sales are subject to booking fees. In person Tickets can currently only be purchased at Yeadon Town Hall on show nights. However, we are hoping to open our newly refurbished Box Office more often so keep an eye on our website and social media channels for updates.

Concessions Concession availability varies per individual show - please refer to the event’s booking page for more information. Please note proof of eligibility must be provided at the Box Office. Group bookings Bookings of 10 tickets or more are eligible for a 10% group booking discount. This will be automatically deducted at the checkout. Ticket reservations and returns Unfortunately we are unable to hold tickets or offer any ticket exchanges, returns or refunds at this time. If, for whatever reason, a performance is cancelled we will endeavour to either offer you another performance to attend or a full refund. Age guidance We trust individuals to judge the suitability of productions, and though Yeadon Town Hall accepts no responsibility for any offence caused, where possible and necessary will provide age guidance for programmed shows. Admissions policy The Yeadon Town Hall team reserves the right to refuse admission. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable point in the performance, so it is advised to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the show’s starting time. You can always join us for a drink in the Town Hall bar before the show if you arrive a touch early. General information Getting here We are located at the very heart of Yeadon - you can’t miss us (just look out for the clock tower!) Our address is: Yeadon Town Hall High Street Yeadon LS19 7PP You’ll either find us by heading down South View Road or by heading along Yeadon High Street and turning left before you reach Town Street. Where to park There is plenty of free public parking available in Yeadon. There is a small public car parking area at the front of the Town Hall, parking available on the High Street or in the unrestricted Ivegate or Silver Lane car parks both situated less than a three minute walk away. The car parks can get busy, so allow plenty of time before the show starts to make sure you are parked, safe and settled. Access As an inclusive and accessible community venue, we hope to make the experience of visiting us as easy and welcoming as possible for all people with access requirements. Please contact us ahead of your visit if you would like to discuss specific access requirements.
Wheelchair access Access to the Town Hall is available towards the rear of the building, with full access to the ground floor and upper level of the venue and accessible toilets available on the ground floor and first floor. Full access to the bar area and stall seating is available, but please note there is currently no disabled access to the balcony in the main auditorium. Please let us know your requirements at the time of booking and we will do our very best to assist you.
Parking Designated disabled parking bays are available at the front of Yeadon Town Hall, with access to the building towards the rear of the venue. Other requirements Assistance dogs are welcome and we will always do our best to accomodate all of our patrons. We also have a hearing loop, available at all events.
