SOUVENIR PROGRAMME
e m o c l e W It’s a long time since we have included a fun family show in our repertoire. We’ve had a wonderful time putting it together and I welcome you all to The Sword in the Scone. Mari Fleming
Synopsis of Play Good King Uther Pendragon has died with no heir. It’s up to Merlin, yet again, to find the next King of Camelot. With the help of some dubious knights and some really bad cooking, Merlin finds the next King, Arthur, when he pulls the sword of Avalon from an over-baked scone. With the sword in hand, Arthur reluctantly sets out to defeat the evil witch Morgana and the dragon in this riotously funny quest to become the true King of Camelot and rescue the Lady Guinevere held captive by the dragon! Directed by Mari Fleming, Assisted by Iain Vernon-Wilson

MURDER ON WEST MOON STREET (A Wilde Comedy) By: Rob Urbinati Directed by: Tom Shorrock
Lord Arthur is deliriously happy and engaged to be married. Until; at his aunt’s party, a mysterious palm reader predicts that he will commit a murder. Of course, being a proper English gentleman Arthur believes it is his duty to get this killing business over with before he marries. So, with the help of his butler he endeavours to embark on the task. However; neither his education experience nor his breeding have provided him with the required skills. An hilarious series of mishaps ensues as he sets about finding a victim. Imagine a laugh out loud play based on a short story by Oscar Wilde, which brings together Wilde’s waspish Irish wit; the comedy of Jeeves and Wooster, with the elegance and style of Noel Coward.
