Queenies Coffee Shop

Queenies is a coffee shop that is located in the centre part of Huddersfield town centre. Queenies services are popular in whole range such as in their different types of coffees and tea, the in the Queenies menu other thing that are also listed and they are; varieties of alternative sandwiches, toasted melts, homemade soup and cakes. The environment is calm, peaceful and relaxing to be in. The staff is worm hearted and listens to the customers needs and fulfil all their orders. They have never disappointed their customers and have always given the best service possible. You can eat in or take out with your own choice.

Font & Typography The chosen font for Queenies new brand is Curl MT and Noteworthy This typography should be used consistently throughout the documents.

Title Case: Curls MT - 36pt

Upper Case Sub-heading: Noteworthy - 14pt

Sentence Case Main Body Text: Noteworthy - 17pt

Brand Patterns These are the chosen brand patterns that should be used on all the items, such as the take out packaging, menu, special menu leaflets. I have used 3 of the brand colours to create a pattern. The colours that I have used are maroon, grey and brown. The main pattern is the maroon one, which should be presented on mainly all the products. The grey should only be used for the medium take out cup.

Logo This logo is the main highlight of Queenies coffee shop. The logo signifies Queenies as its own brand, which should be used properly in order to fit the identity of the coffee shop. The background of the logo should be clear unless used for loyalty and business card. The size of the logo is‌ and the clear zone should be 0.5cm.

Logo Error For all the branding items, you should always remember to use the consistency of the logo and never try to recreate or edit the logo. These are some of the errors that can occur when using the logo. Such as removing the text or the crown icon, changing the colour, taking out part of the logo and not using any colour at all. The digital logo is provided.

Business & Loyalty Card The logo should always be positioned in the middle of the business card with equal amount of spacing around it but should as the icons of the loyalty card. Back of the cards should have the brand pattern opacity as 45% and should not be changed.

Take-out Bags & Cups Each cup has its own design. The large cup should always have the original maroon brand pattern, medium cup should always have the grey and brown pattern and the small cup should have the logo in the middle. The take out bags should always have two brand pattern strips on both sides including the logo in the centre, this is so it represent Queenies coffee shop.

Menu

This is the menu that has been specially designed for Queenies and should be presented this way without any changes to the layout or the typography. On each of the menu page, the pattern strip should be shown and not taken off and only the front menu cover should have a full boarder around it.

Special Menu & Blackboard The special menu and black board should always have the brand pattern boarder around it to keep it consistent with the menu and in order to keep in consistent. They blackboard should have white chalk typography written on it daily.
