The challenge through this project was to design two projects around the world, one in Nanjing, China and the other in Turin, Italy. Keeping in mind that both should have commons characteristics through the architectural proposal, the urban rules and their function.
Therefor the objectives of both sites in Nanjing and in Turin are very similar. Regarding the architecture the aim is to provide a solution respecting both the cultural context and the existing urban contexts.
Urban agriculture was the chosen concept used in common for both site where every aspect of design decisions were taken around the concept in order to increase the productivity as well as to provide quality, well thought design spaces for the residents of the co-living and of the neighbourhood.
