‘Best seller ’ by Jordan, and ‘Read your Bible ’ by Abigail.

Abbi read God’ s Word from Matthew Ch.13 vs 44-46, before the Rev. Lock-hart spoke to the CE and the congregation on the parables of ‘The Hidden Treasure ’ and ‘The Finest Pearl’ which teach us that our greatest treasure is in seeking, finding and knowing Jesus. We ended our service with the congregation joining us in singing our closing praise ‘How deep the Father ’ s love for us ’ followed by the Benediction prayer. Summer. A Junior opened in prayer and the pre-Juniors and Juniors sang accompanied by our own little orchestra made up from all sections. Our Youth Associate and his lovely girl-friend made popcorn and our teenagers staffed the coffee bar providing tea/coffee, traybakes, and shortbread.

The coffee bar was absolutely packed and people stayed around just chatting afterward. Everyone enjoyed the movie and had a great night. Three pre-Juniors (aged 3) came forward to close in prayer. It would melt your heart!!

CARNMONEY MOVIE NIGHT

Our teenagers have spent a lot of time making a film using the puppets and green screen. The theme this year was Superheroes and the film was Superhero High. We are very blessed that we have a techno guy, Ian, who is very talented and understands all of this stuff. The guys had great fun making the film and we wanted to give parents and friends the opportunity to see it, so we organised a " movie night" .
