#Delhi's fashion, food and finesse The capital’s darling this season is none other than the uber-fashionable debutante, The Runway Project, part of ‘The Project Series’ by Pizza Express. With a menu inspired by fashion, it finds its exclusive Delhi home at the place best suited for it - Select CITYWALK The restaurant launch on 7th of February, or as we would call it, the debutante ball, was an iconic event, the likes of which Delhi had never seen, and it brought the bustling shopping centre to a standstill. The Runway Project created the backstage pre-show action in front of the eyes, onto the headramp, posing for a live photoshoot in real time on the ramp!! Delhi was left stunned as the immersive design and fashion-centric experience unraveled before its eyes. The glitz and glamour of course continues with the fashionable menu curated by none other than celebrity chef Vicky Ratnani, who has curated personalised local gourmet experiences.
4.
Each destination that ‘The Project Series’ travels to will have signature dishes inspired by the local flavours, moods and ethos of the catchment. Nothing can sum up casual fine dining experiences better than that, we think! The go-to place for luncheons, aftermovie meals and even high tea, The Runway Project has given special importance to creating a chic yet understated ambience for the taste makers and fashion leaders of the city to mingle in. The interiors of the space, designed by Ayaz Basrai of the Busride Studio, pays homage to the fashion industry, using Rorschach blots as an inspiration for concrete walls,

mixing it up with digital projections that animate patterns in an ever-changing Kaleidoscopic treatment, where one can spot ephemeral patterns and forms over a glass of champagne! Nothing more voguish than that. The tastefully-prepared menu by chef Ratnani and his team speaks of the fashion-driven sensibility of the space with dishes that are not only delectable, but also lay great emphasis - much like fashion - on stylish presentations and portions. “The highlights of my menu for The Runway Project are clean flavours
and top-quality produce. An array of flavours inspired by Italian food, which are progressive and creative just like fashion, are some of the mainstays, says chef Ratnani. The bar at the Runway Project is dressed in gilded glamour, making it a covetable watering hole for the fashion pack. The bar section is splashed with tons of gold, creating the perfect contrast with the concrete. Treat yourself to a large helping of fashionable food at The Runway Project, only at Select CITYWALK.

Bill Cunningham, our all-time favourite fashion photography genius, once said, ”The best fashion show is on the streets. Always has been. Always will be.”
#GET STREET-Smart STreet style
Street fashion includes trends that sprung forth not from studios or haute couturiers in large fashion houses but from wardrobes and combinations created by the youth.
23. mango ` 4,490
Street fashion is often associated with the culture of the youth and is most palpable in prominent cities. One of the most important features of street fashion is its diversity and its ability to fit all social strata as opposed to high fashion, which is supposedly and popularly reserved only for the elite. In the evolution of street fashion through the ‘50s, ‘80s and 2000s, some interesting separates have been used to depict this unique form of expression. Baggy pants, sneakers, suspenders, hoodies, boots, neon socks, flared pants, denim, floral ensembles and the like all represent the transition from one era to another of the different predominant lifestyles. These pieces are emulated from the Gothic, biker, hipster, jazz, hippie, punk, hip-hop, blues and R&B lifestyles and prove to be serious inspirations to urban high-fashion houses.
The wardrobe must-have to master this trend is The flannel shirt: When it comes to building a streettrendy wardrobe, a trusty flannel button-down is a great place to start. One can style it to look western, grungy, hipster-esque, or even laid-back and effortlessly cool.

#Baisakhi lookbook Borrow a page from this season’s hottest trends for Baisakhi, whether you’re thinking Indian, Western or fusion - bold, quirky, florals, sun shine spring-y yellows, roomy silhouettes or zingy accessories
Nothing takes an ensemble a notch above like a statement accessory. This Baisakhi, bring out the grandmother’s antique or a hand-me-down from mother and flaunt it in style. You could also rouse the tribal instinct in you and sport a piece that’s as unique as you instead.
If free-flowing is more your style, then don’t let anyone cramp it. Don an all-yellow outfit befitting the festival. Pair it with yellow palazzos and stilettos for an evening out celebrating Baisakhi.
27.
If you like traditional drapes, then nothing can beat the whole nine yards! Drape one, and to add the Baisakhi touch, stick a yellow carnation in one ear or wrap a string of gorgeous marigolds on a top or a low bun.
Simplicity is always on point and elegant. If you are the no fuss kinds and prefer to stick to the salwar suit for a festival, you can still stand out by throwing on a fabulous dupatta from Fabindia. Trust us. Accessorise and you’re good to go!
1469 leaves no stone unturned to showcase Punjabiyat and what’s a better time than Baisakhi to flaunt the Punjabi goddess in you? This phulkari baagh will ensure all eyes are on you. It is called a baagh or garden as the embroidery in bright warm colors of Punjab, embraces the entire fabric, almost akin to celebrating the harvest festival of Baisakhi.

stock up on dresses, so you always look chic, from statement wraparounds to usual A-line numbers. Think crisp shirts and liven up black pieces with embroidered details and a dash of seasonal hues to jazz up traditional monochrome palettes. When it comes to tailoring, our research proves you don’t have to splash the cash. Choose trendy options from Zara, Mango and the likes. Minimise your workwear wardrobe to a small capsule collection - We’re talking 10 pieces. It doesn't sound like a lot, but a bunch of high-quality, neutral staples that can be mixed and matched is really all you need. 35. Summer beauty exhibits a charm of its own - soft hues, pastel tones and more. But looking perfectly preened this time of year can be tricky; humidity and long days not withstanding - not to forget sultry summer nights - all take a toll on your makeup. We’ve curated some tips to keep your makeup in place and to avoid that mascara making its way down your cheeks. Whatever may cause the excessive sweating, it can be embarrassing. Skip the damn powder Toning down shine with powder can create a chalky look that only exaggerates fine lines and wrinkles. Use blotting papers instead to absorb excess oil without messing up your makeup. Cool it off Do you apply makeup fresh out of the shower? It’s better to wait at least 10 minutes for your body to cool down. Applying makeup on warm skin makes the skin absorb the ingredients more readily, which can cause breakouts later, and is likely to result in a less-polished appearance. Wait until the skin is completely cool. If you’re in a rush, splash your face with cold water a few times before starting your makeup routine. Facial mist to the rescue If you’re traveling and find it hard to refresh your makeup, take a facial mist along with you. As long as the pump delivers a fine spray, you’ll end up cooling your skin, which will make your makeup last longer.
CHAMBOR ` 1,145
Primer is bae Primers are made to help makeup cling to the skin a little longer. They can also cut down on shine later in the day. Apply before putting on your foundation, but after your moisturiser. Make sure whatever product you use is oil-free. Water-resistant all the way Mascara that’s water-resistant or waterproof is better able to withstand summer sweating. Liquid eyeliners also last longer than pencils when your lids are moist. Go light! If you’re going to be out in the sun, stay away from smoky eyes, dark blushes, and the like. These are a bit harsh in the bright summer sun, and are also more likely to be noticeable if they drip or smudge. Look for softer colours, particularly for the eyes.
CLINIQUE ` 1,890
Use less Too much makeup in the hot summer sun can make you look unnatural. If you’re going out in the heat, stick to the essentials. Conceal the dark spots and under-eye circles, consider a light BB cream and apply a bit of bronzer to the cheeks and chin. Finish off with a waterproof mascara and you’re good to go.

#For fashionable tots Whoever said kids don't have their own innate sense of fashion?! They totally do and pandering to that very innate sense, USPA brings to you a collection that will leave your kids and wallets salivating

Beginning a fitness journey is a big step and starting right is essential to getting the best results, say experts from Fitness First First of all, it is essential to set realistic goals - goals that are achievable and will motivate you to continue to invest time and effort into your fitness. A good fitness club will offer a comprehensive orientation or induction programme for its new members. Aside from introducing you to the club facilities and fitness offerings, the induction programme will also help you identify specific fitness goals and get you started on a fitness plan to address these goals. When you begin your membership, it is important to have a thorough assessment of your fitness levels. These include a full body assessment, a fitness test and identifying any health issues. This will help a personal trainer design a customised workout regimen for you, keeping in mind your interests, habits and goals. The more a workout plan is suited to you, the better your results will be. Another essential component of getting quick results is making sure your nutri-
tion is on point. Be certain to have a few sessions with a nutritionist to assess your current eating habits. You may also be given dietary advice in keeping with your current workout plan, to help you reach your goals faster. They say that 50 per cent of what we are is what we eat, and exercise accounts for 50 per cent. With a brand new fitness programme and diet in hand, you should be well set to start on your fitness. Don’t ever hesitate to ask a trainer if you need any help on the floor, or with your workout. Doing it right is important, as is doing it consistently. The first few weeks are the hardest, but fitness is the best commitment you can make to yourself. Within a short time - about four to six weeks - you should start noticing positive changes in your fitness levels and in your body. That’s a sure sign you’re doing things right, and an indication that it may be time to get your fitness reassessed by a trainer, so they can give you a new workout plan and new challenges. At Fitness First, we have a comprehensive induction programme called Headstart. As the name suggests, this programme is designed to help you start strong and stay strong towards achieving your fitness milestones.
