For the fourth time in less than two years, HM the King travelled to the Republic of India, one of Bahrainâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s most important economic partners in the region. The GPIC President, Dr. Abdulrahman Jawahery, had the privilege of being, as on previous visits, a member of the economic delegation accompanying the King, where he was pleased to witness first-hand the success achieved by these Royal visits, which provide an opportunity for Bahrain to build a strong alliance with other regions of Asia. Welcomed by President Pranab Mukherjee, HM the King of Bahrain and his accompanying delegation, held discussions in which they reviewed bilateral relations and discussed a number of regional and international issues of common interest. Later, they met the Indian Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh at his Palace in Hyderabad and at the headquarters of the Indian government in New Delhi, during which, the intimate atmosphere

Marking the World Health Day on 7th April every year, the GPIC Health Committee organised a Walking Day on Monday 7th April at the GPIC Complex.The event is held as part of the company’s involvement with civil society organizations to mark this important occasion. GPIC continues to provide First Aid Courses for New Employees

One of the many and varied training programmes organised by the Academy of Leadership and Learning at GPIC, that develop the capabilities and skills of the company’s employees, is a specialised course in First Aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (Heart saver First Aid, CPR & AED Training,) taught according to National Safety Council standards.
