WHAT IS PEELING MONKEYS!!! My name is Stephanie De Guzman (you can call me Steph!) and I proudly serve as ⅓ of MKC’s vice presidents!! We kicked off the start of August with a fundraiser at Gogini K-BBQ and THE FOOD WAS SCRUMPTIOUS + supporting local businesses is super awesome!! ^-^ We’ve also been selling MKC pins for $1 AND THEY’RE SERIOUSLY SO CUTE!! You should totally buy one… hehe.. >:)) Lastly, we had a Back To School Service Week where we made bookmarks, shared our love and appreciation to our teachers, and gave tips on studying with school starting! I hope to see you all soon at future events and I’m excited to see what our club has to offer for the month of September! Have a wonderful rest of your day!! Much love :]] <3

WHAT”S UP GREEN MONKEYS!!! My name is Kaithlyn De Guzman (or Katie HEHE!) and I currently serve as your Hype Team Chair! August was pretty jam packed but was overall a great month for us! We first started off with our Gogini Fundraiser and the food there was super good!! YAY! We love supporting local businesses <3 Also, we’ve recently been selling some of our very own MKC pins for only $1! SUPER CUTE! You guys should totally get yourself one!!! :D Lastly, for the start of the new school year, we had a Back to School Service Week! WOOHOO! We did different activities like making bookmarks, crafting little gifts for our teachers, and so much more! VERY FUN! Anyways, on a serious note, I just want to say to all of you who are reading this, thank you so much for participating in our fundraisers and events. It truly makes us so happy and we appreciate you guys so much for it! Anyways, I can’t wait to see what our club has in store for September! I hope you are all HYPED up for what’s to come! I also hope to see all of you, especially new members, at our future events!

this month we raised 80+ for the Pediatric Trauma Program, as we also served 100+ hours for this month ! that puts us well over our TERM GOAL for the funds raised for ptp !!! let's not forget we are 3/4 of the way to reaching our TERM GOAL for service hours !! it is easy to say that you have exceeded my expectations, mayfair green monkeys. im so proud of you and everything that you are going to achieve. FOURTH GENERAL MEETING
WHAT’S UP MONKEYS!! Another event we had this month was our 4th General Meeting of the term! This meeting was mandatory for people who are interested in becoming a member. We started off with an icebreaker. It was a bit hard considering how little space we had, but it was still really fun! Then we talked through some old business and new business, introducing everyone how we go about our usual general meetings! Then we introduced member recognition and how active, dedicated members will get the chance to be recognized on many different levels. Overall, we had such a great turnout and we appreciate everyone who took interest and attended this meeting! We hope to see you all at future

Club Rush
HEY WHAT’S SWINGING GREEN MONKEYS!! One event we had this month was our Club Rush! It was awesome!! I was walking around, leading the line to the sign up table, and talking to our future members! There were so many people around, it was incredible to see. I really enjoyed talking to everyone and seeing how many people were excited and interested about Key Club! Even Mr. Nguyen came to show his support! Overall, it was such a fulfilling experience that I can't wait to do it again!

R8 Rio Olympics
WHAT’S GOOD GREEN MONKEYS!! During the month of August, we had a REGIONdivison 13 south ninjas, 13 west hedgehogs, 19 south bunnies, and 19 north penguinsDCM called Rio Olympics held August 20th at Heartwell Park. It was so much fun interacting with other people from different divisions within our region and I can’t wait to see them again soon at RTC! We ate pizza and we played many fun games with balloons, water buckets, and more! Overall I was happy to meet new people and spend time with my division as well!
