Service VP,Hello Mayfair Key Clubbers!!
My name is Yazlene Garcia and I serve on the Event Committee. For this last month of summer break, we had several events.Starting the month of July with Mayfair Key Club’s very own movie night fundraiser presenting: Howl's Moving Castle. Some of the board members helped out with registration and decoration while others prepared and helped out with the snack bar or set up the screen. The decorations were amazing with backdrops, posters, and amazing drawings! The result was we had other fellow key clubbers from other schools attend as well as many from our club. We were also able to raise funds for the PTP program. Another club event we had for this month was a door decorating event at Lindstrom Elementary. During this two-day event, we were able to make some amazing welcome posters, bulletin boards, and back-to-school posters. We painted, drew, and crafted the decorations for the posters. The teachers and staff were very thankful and happy for these posters. Overall it was a fun event and we got reminded of elementary school with arts and crafts. And of course, CONGRATULATIONS on passing 1,000 hours of service!
WOOHOO! I hope you all had an amazing first week back to school! I hope to see you all participate in August’s Service Week!

Event Recap
MOVIE NIGHT AT THE HALL
Hello Mayfair Students! During the month of May Mayfair Key Club hosted their first ever Movie Night Fundraiser! This fundraiser took place in the Kiwanis Hall on July 15th from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. After briefly working through some technical difficulties, the movie Howl's Moving Castle, made by Studio Ghibli, played for the many members that attended the event. All were dressed in pajamas and brought blankets and pillows to get snug in the cozy Kiwanis Hall. There were even booths at the side for any individuals that may want to indulge in different snacks, just like a true Movie Theatre! Ultimately, the credits rolled and tears streamed from the members' collective faces. The Mayfair Movie Night Fundraiser raised a whopping $400 for PTP, and was a huge success!

What’s Swingin’ Mayfair Monkeys!!
My name is Kaithlyn De Guzman and I currently serve as your Hype Team Chair for the 2022-2023 term! For the month of July, one of the events we did was actually a two day service event! And it was at Lindstrom Elementary School! WOAH THAT’S SO CRAZY! We got to help the teachers prepare for the new school year by making some awesome welcome and back to school posters, cleaning up the classrooms, and making some cute bulletin boards for the new students to see! The teachers were so thankful that we got to help them out for the new school year and we are also so glad that we could help them too! Even some of us remember the memories of being in elementary school HEHEHE! Overall, this was a very successful and fun service event we did! Definitely hope to do more events like this one in the future! THAT’S IT FOR NOW FROM ME MAYFAIR MONKEYS!
