what’s swinging mayfair monkeys!!

i cannot be anymore proud of us right now for being where we are. because of YOUR hard work we are one of the most biggest and successful clubs here in division 13 north. so don’t stop attending any and every event you can!

we have so much in store for you in the near future, like movie night fundraiser on july 15th and potential service events so you can raise your service hours before the school year starts! one of the bigger events of the summer, the movie night is being hosted by mayfair where we’ll watch studio ghibli’s “howl’s moving castle”

in our pjs! it’ll be a fun night so i suggest you don’t skip out on it.

if you cannot come to that, we always have more in stock for our members, so keep a look out for more events! maybe even invite people who have never been in key club before, we are nearing the school year so that means HUGE events like region training conference and fall rally south are coming up. we’d love for everyone, new and old to be a part of our key club family and to see what this community has to offer :D so keep serving monkeys

Ill be swinging around,

WHAT’S SWINGING MAYFAIR MONKEYS!!!???

During the month of June, our club had a fundraiser at Chuck E. Cheese in Lakewood on June 3rd! On June 9th, many of our members volunteered at the Los Alamitos Tribe Rugby Event where they helped wrap some hot dogs and burgers and ran back and forth on the field being a line judge. Overall, our members got to learn more about the game of rugby while being able to serve their local community. One of the important events that I attended this month was OTC! I had fun learning how to be a better officer and meet people from other divisions! I hope to see more of our members at future events for the month of July and get everybody involved in the awesome community of Key Club!

Have a great summer!

Helloooo Mayfair Key Clubbers !!

I’m Caryn Zapon, and I proudly serve as 1⁄2 of Mayfair Key Club’s Historians! Starting off the month of June strong, our fellow members participated in a TWO DAY service event where we helped set up for the Tribe Rugby Tournament. Continuing into the second day of the service event they helped run the snack bar and keep time of some of the rugby matches. The turnout for this service event was amazing and our fellow key clubbers did not let summer stop them from showing up and serving the community. The Awesome 80s Run came next with all of Division 13 North coming out to help set tables up, fill water cups, and cheer on the participating runners. Seeing how fun and AWESOME the service event was I wish I had been able to attend! The next event that Mayfair key clubbers attended in June was the Super Smash BROTC with almost our entire board showing up! The conference was so fun and exciting; we were surrounded by our fellow key clubbers from all over Division 13! Plus there was also the opportunity to learn and ask questions about how to fully serve our home club as well as our community through a board position. Keeping up the service events there was a Division 13N event where our members helped out at food booths and collected tickets during the Lakewood Block Party. In an aligning way the June DCM AND Mayfair Key Club’s Berry Brand fundraiser were held on the same day!! The June DCM had a great turnout but Mayfair Key Clubs attendance was amazing, not to mention some of our mayfair members being selected to serve as division officers in committees YEAHHH! Following the DCM our fundraiser at Berry Brand was an amazing event with so many people coming out to support and enjoying acai bowls! As a club we've done so much in this first month of summer! I'm so very proud of our Mayfair key clubbers for showing up, being so dedicated, and just all around amazing! I hope every single one of you has an amazing day rest of your day,

This month we had the absolute JOY of hosting and attending cool events for our members and officers :0 On the club level, we got to host the Tribe Rugby Service Event where many of the members got to learn the game of rugby and helped out the referees with becoming line judges. They also helped sell items like burgers and hotdogs at the snack shack (some even got to cook but we don’t talk about that)! 20+ Mayfair monkeys also attended had a fun and soaking June DCM. After they headed to our successful Berry Brand fundraiser where we raised exactly $100 to PTP!

Overall, we are just edging closer and closer to our goals and we still have some ways till we reach them. However, our progress is motivating and inspiring! Thank you to those who have been coming out and serving our community. All are welcome and appreciated! That’s all for me.

Swinging Out,

The Membership Recognition Program, commonly referred to as MRP , is a requirement-met based system in which members are recognized for their hard work and dedication throughout the term. The MRP requirements may change every year which is why it is important to look at the new MRP each term to ensure you know how to accomplish your goals.

MRP Rubric is broken down into 4 levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum

Any Dues- Paid member is eligible for this and each bracket is separated by a 50+ service hours increase with the required number of sub criteria.
