Latest COVID-19 Update
County Increasing Testing Options and Opportunities Several months ago the Board of Supervisors foresaw how variants such as Omicron could create an increased need for testing and directed County staff to secure as many rapidresult over-the-counter (OTC) antigen test kits as possible before they became high-demand items. As a result, San Bernardino County is now partnering with non-pro t organizations, community-based agencies, government agencies, cities, private schools and nursing homes to provide free OTC kits to ensure that there is greater availability throughout the county. Since the launch of the COVID-19 OTC Antigen Allocation Program last month, the County has provided 116,861 over-thecounter antigen test kits to the people of San Bernardino County through partnerships with 295 agencies.

As Biden stated, “Americans must commit to the un nished work of Martin Luther King Jr., delivering jobs and justice and protecting the sacred right to vote, a right from which all other rights ow.” In order to view the change you would like to see, you must do the work. Find out ways to get involved with major organizations such as NAACP, ACLU and NCNW in the Inland Empire. As Mayor Deborah Robertson says, “Live every 365 days of the year remaining in the march, for equality, justice and tolerance!”
