Studying with us

Our music students have access to three recording studios and five control rooms equipped for surround sound. We also boast the MC Theatre which is the perfect venue for music students to perfect their live performance skills. Along with learning the theory behind the matter, you will gain hands-on experience where you will work with industry standard equipment.

You will gain valuable, practical experience and have the opportunity to showcase your musical abilities at College performances including open events and award presentations. Our local industry connections will also allow you to get a taste of working in the industry whilst advancing your CV.

New city music venue NX Newcastle is set to create 100 new jobs in £1.75m project! Newcastle's former O2 Academy will be transformed into a new music venue which is part of the Electric Group that will create hundreds of new jobs and is expected to open in October.
