Students on a full-time course have the chance to join a sporting academy alongside their studies. Each academy offers specialist coaching to develop sporting excellence, nurture talent and aid personal development. L1 Sport

L2 Sport You will be assessed through assignments, practical tasks, group work, peer assignments, voluntary work and other activities. 1 year

You will be assessed through a variety of methods, consisting of written assignments, power point presentations, poster presentations, practical tasks, demonstrations, discussions, group work and voluntary work. Each assessment will be graded pass, merit or distinction grade. 1 year

The Certificate in Gym Instructing has a range of assessments spread out across the 5 units, these must all be achieved to fully complete the course successfully.

L3 Extended Certificate in Sport The course is assessed through 3 external exams and internal assessments.

L3 Personal Training

L3 Sport & Exercise Science (Extended Diploma) The course is assessed through a mixture of coursework, portfolio of evidence, multiple choice theory examination and practical assessments. 1 year

You will be assessed through a variety of different methods, including assignments, presentations, practical observations, and external examination. There are typically 2-3 assessments per unit and students will be awarded a pass, merit, or distinction depending on the quality of work produced. 2 years
