Purpose The National Support Team for the term 2014-2015 will have the purpose of steering AIESEC in Austria in a certain functional area, together with the MC Momentum 2014/15 over the period of 5 months: February 15th – July 15th 2015. The NSTs will then have the chance to choose whether they want to extend their position for another 6 months or a year and work with the new MC 15/16. You will find positions opened in the area of marketing only. The following positions are open: 1) 2) 3) 4) 5)

Applicants will be responsible for an area of marketing and will be requested to have working hours (physical or virtual).

The Deadline for applications is Tuesday, 10th of February, 23:59, GMT +1 – send in your applications to cristina.soreanu@aiesec.net AND ivana.gusic@aiesec.net in a PDF file, with the following name: NST 14.15_ Full Name.

The Application Form contains two parts that must all be completed and handed in:

o A general questionnaire 
 o A JD specific questionnaire (
 to be found after Job Descriptions in this booklet) •

It is possible to apply for more than one position at the same time, up to maximum 2. In 
that case you have to fill out the General Questionnaire once and then the Specific Questionnaires for each position you are applying for. Please mention the priority of the positions you are applying for (see Application Form, question 7). You will be considered a valid applicant only for those positions for which you filled in the Specific Questionnaire.

In the situation an applicant is considered fit for another position than the one/the ones he originally applied, the MC VP might suggest the applicant for it without further selection.

Overall Job Description All NST positions have a basic set of requirements and conditions: • As a NST member you will be responsible for supporting national and global initiatives and 
bringing them to a local level. 
 • Tracking the performance in the respective functional areas and assuring the qualitative 
implementation of the national directions will be the main tasks. 
 • Clear communication is required and commitment in keeping deadlines. 
 • It is necessary and demanded to be able to work independently as most of the work will be handled and done virtually. 
 • Every NST Member will be responsible for supporting the VPs of the country. 
 • Every NST member is part of the national team and thus should take ownership for AIESEC in Austria as a whole.


1. Brand & Design Manager The Brand & Design Manager is responsible for all visual materials and branding initiatives. The main task will be to provide AIESEC in Austria with both print and online materials – posters, business cards, booklets and templates for external representation and promotion activities. Depending on the NST member, facilitation of trainings in the area of design and brand management could also be included.

Requirements: • Knowledge about AIESEC brand (rules and guidelines) • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop (Corel Draw and InDesign preferable, not required)
 • Creative thinking, adaptability, working under pressure Activities & Responsibilities

Creation of materials for major campaigns (Youth Talent, Global Citizen, Global Talent)

Development: These are the competencies and skills that can be developed while performing the job: • Product development and campaign creation (both print and online) • Branding knowledge and extensive understanding of AIESEC brand • Designing skills (mastering the Adobe programs)

2. Content Manager The Content Manager is responsible for all content planning and production of written content (blog posts, articles and press releases). The main task will be to provide AIESEC in Austria with fresh and qualitative content (blog and website), as well as to feedback any content created in LCs (blog posts, press releases etc.). Content manager will be in charge of sourcing and evaluating potential guest writers. Depending on the NST member, facilitation of trainings in the area of design and brand management could also be included. Available positions: 2! One content manager would be in charge of press releases (for media and journalists) and the other would be in charge of blog posts. However, the person should be ready to do both.

Requirements: • Knowledge about AIESEC and the topics we cover as an organization • Strategic thinking and planning • Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken). Preferably a German speaker • Creative writing, copywriting, working under pressure Activities & Responsibilities

Measures of Success

Content creation for the blog and the website

• 1 article per week (quality) • SEO + Google analytics

Feedbacking blog posts and press releases of the LCs

• Responsiveness • # of posts from the LC level


Development: These are the competencies and skills that can be developed while performing the job: • Content planning and creation (strategic planning, alignment with social media manager, writing skills, etc.) • Knowledge of feedbacking and responsiveness (attention to detail, analytical skills) • Researching and becoming an expert on certain topics

3. Web Development Manager The Web Development Manager is responsible for website maintenance and development, as well as coming up with innovative ways to optimize it and increase conversions. The main task will be to make sure the website is well maintained and that innovation and investment lead to visitors converting to leads. Web Development Manager will closely cooperate with Brand and Design Manager, as well as Social Media Manager. Other than taking care of the national website, as well as certain local websites, web development manager will be responsible for the switch to the new WordPress template in May/June (provided by AIESEC International) and will have other minor tasks that involve programming.

4. Social Media Manager The Social Media Manager is responsible for managing all social media accounts of AIESEC in Austria (except Facebook) focusing on LinkedIn, XING, Twitter, Google+ and YouTube, with the focus on B2B channels. The JD includes: creating weekly content plans for before mentioned social media channels to have consistent engagement with our followers; creating social media campaigns and call-to-actions that drive target audience to national website and generate leads for our focus programs; responded to comments and messages quickly to build effective online relationships; translate website’s content to highly engaging, social-friendly content for our channels. B2B Social Media Manager will work closely with Facebook Social Media Manager and Designer.

5. Multimedia Manager The Multimedia Manager is responsible for all video materials and photography. The main task will be to provide AIESEC in Austria with high quality videos that manage to explain the product (Global Citizen, Global Talent, iGIP etc.) very well. The goal is to increase engagement on video platforms such as YouTube and to make a depository of photographs fro AIESEC in Austria (from corporate events, conferences, local iGDCP projects etc.)
