BARRACUDAS BARRACUDA SWIM TEAM Can you believe we are only 3 months away from the beginning of summer swim season? As the league starts to meet again this year we will discuss dues and the season. Brook Valley is in need of a parent volunteer that will sit in on the board of director meetings with Ashley once a month now through October. These meeting are to discuss the season and policies and procedures for the league. Please reach out to Ashley about helping with the board. As we approach the season be prepared to volunteer! As all of you returning parents know the meet cannot run without volunteers. That means for your kids to swim you are needed to time, judge, scorekeeper, starter, take waters around to volunteers and HAVE FUN! We will have three home meets which are the meets we will need the scorekeeper, starter and hospitality runner. Before the season starts, we will have some training for scorekeeper and judges. As intimidating as judging sounds it is an easy position and you get a bird's eye view of the swimmers. We need to have 8 volunteers to take the judges class which will be announced at the beginning of the season. Great news that at this time Coach Peyton will be back this summer as well as help from Coach Mac.
EASTER EGG HUNT AT BROOK VALLEY Hop into Brook Valley and say hey to the Easter Bunny. We will have 1000 eggs on the lawn to find for all ages! Egg hunts for ages 5 & Under will start at 12:00 and anyone 6 & over will start at approximately 12:15. Who will find the golden egg this year? We will have one hidden for each age group with a special prize! Following the egg hunt join us for lunch in the lakeview room, patio or grab something to take home with you.
