Story collection
guideline
Why? AIESEC works with people that through our projects, develop leadership and live amazing experiences every day. If this experiences are transformed into stories and shared with other people, we would be able to: Showcase our impact
Gain more credibility Build a stronger brand Make EPs and trainees get more ownership towards AIESEC and their job.
Photos Remember to capture: • Your team • The local culture • The details of your internship • People whom you met during your internship • Your classes or work place
• Landscapes
Stories
Write down the details. Write them down in bullet points: where you stayed, what you learned in your work or sharing with interns from other countries, capture the details you consider are important but don’t labor over the mundane.
Why are stories relevant?
• Stories are structured in intro, development and conclusion. • They are based in real experiences. • Stories told by those who live it, transmit a bigger emotional charge to the reader. • Any emotional message generates a much faster and stronger reaction in our brains. • Knowing stories of people like us makes us feel we can have
the same experiences.
Videos
Videos are one of the best tools to communicate ideas but it also require more efforts to have good quality, even though it is not impossible so we recommend to use Windows Movie maker as it is an easy editor, also Magisto, that creates videos by itself.
Final output At the end each EP has to fulfill 2 tasks:
1- EP should share one post on social media (FB or Instagram) about his exchange with AIESEC and this post should be during his realization period. 2- EP should submit his testimonial report talking about 3 aspects: -AIESEC support through the journey -Brief about the project and impact the EP had on society
-How the journey impacted the EP.
