The Heart of Jutland enjoys more than 600,000 overnight stays from business travellers and conference delegates every year., and our venues work diligently to ensure that even large-scale events leave little or no climate impact, while being responsible managers of human and natural resources.

Most venues are thermally insulated to the highest standards, running on abundant Danish wind power, and using district heating wherever possible. All venues have implemented measures for water management, waste management, and reducing food waste.

Sustainability is more than climate, and our preferred venues all support and encourage organized labour and collaborate with trade unions. Most have codes of conduct in place for both employees and suppliers to promote fair play, fair pay, and excellent physical and mental health in the workplace.

Haraldskær Hotel is set in a 1434 mansion located in a lush, green valley. It’s one of the six hotels in the Sinatur chain of hotels. Sinatur is GHG and B Corp-certified and reports progress on both climate action and social impact across the entire chain.

You can go to Sydney. Or Lillebælt. In both places, you can walk above a bridge. Bridgewalking Lillebælt is the first of its kind in Europe. Experience breathtaking heights, unobstructed views, and the gentle sway of the bridge as trains rumble over the bridge. Wauw.

Take a walk amongst wonders

Walk and talk under the canopies of the Munkebjerg Forest. Here you can climb up the 218-step staircase leading up to Munkebjerg Hotel or drive along the mountain road with hairpin bends. You will also find one of Denmark’s most beautiful golf courses, Vejle Golf Club, which forms man-made, green clearings in the forest.
