THE PROJECT Hypertext Bookstore is located on an active street in the SoFA Arts District of San Jose. The store features gallery wall space, an activity space for events, a cafe, and bookshelves throughout. The interior is bright and open, making it a uplifting space to spend time and browse throught titles.

THE PROCESS The motif for the design is the shapes that are created throught the grouping of elipses. The relation between touching surfaces of ellipses is used throughout the design at different scales.
