THE PROCESS The hermitage is created through subtraction from a solid form. The subtraction is done twice at different orientations. This leaves polygons that are either suspended by steel rods or scattered across the site.

People can occupy the hermitage by sitting inside it or by climbing up to the top of the structure. The polygons that have been blown across the site can be sat on or used as tables.
