A Message From Your General Manager The pool is officially open! Unfortunately, our Memorial Day weekend was not what we had hoped for with regards to the weather. Appreciate all that came out Monday afternoon when the sun peeked out for a short time. Thanks to the golfers that battled the annoying rain in the morning playing in the Memorial Day Classic. Now that the kids are out of school, the pool will be an extremely popular gathering spot for kids and adults alike. I just want to take a moment to remind everyone to read and abide by the rules. All members are required to sign themselves and any guest in at the lifeguard desk. Also, please be reminded that it is the parent’s and or chaperone’s responsibility to watch and supervise their children. Let’s all have a safe summer. It is remarkable to think we are almost halfway through the year. Thus far, 2023 has been an incredible year at the club and not slowing down for the next 7 months. We have many new improvements coming- CMC App, Mobile POS, pool service with food runners, and a full bar (FridaySunday). We are excited to announce Gretchen Wyatt has been hired as our FOH, she is one of the happiest people I have ever met and greets everyone with a smile. Gretchen has many new ideas for the Clubhouse restaurant so stay tuned for that information to follow in the near future. I managed to get out and play our great golf course and I must say John Baker and his team are fine tuning the course for the summer. I would ask as we move deeper into the hot and humid part of the calendar do your best to fill an extra divot and fix and extra pitch mark on the green, it really makes a difference and allows for a better membership experience. Our membership drive that started in March has and still seeing a lot of new members joining the club, if you see a new face introduce yourself and make them feel welcomed confirming to them, they have joined the best club. Please remember to reach out with suggestions and comments as I am here to make your membership experience the best it can be. I can be reached by email npmorrow@cramermountainclub.com or my direct line at 704-879-4888 ext. 3.

Pro's Corner I am pleased to announce the start of our new Positive Practice Training Sessions! What are Positive Practice Training Sessions you ask? These sessions are designed to cover putting, short game, and long game; from a 3-foot putt to the driver. Every session will have a customized plan for the golfer to learn and understand how to improve their score. Weekly sessions will give our entire membership the opportunity to participate. We will also offer beginner and junior sessions as well. These sessions will be conducted by Chuck, Chris, and Devin in rotation to create flexibility and freshness each time.
Our vision for Cramer Mountain Club is to create and grow a culture among our members that love to play golf and enjoy playing with different players. Our goal is to get these practice sessions started around June 20th. Contact the golf shop for more details. I would also like to remind our golfers that we do have a dress code on the golf course and the driving range. Please be sure to wear a collared shirt and golf shorts or pants. Jeans, cutoffs, gym shorts, and T-shirts are not permitted. Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to an exciting summer of golf! Sincerely, Chuck Johnson, Head Pro

Restaurant Updates Happy June!! The club has started off with a BIG bang this summer. The Cardboard Boat Races were awesome to watch. I would like to commend the CMC Board for having a vision, believing it, and executing it. The ship is sailing, and I am blessed to be able to jump aboard! I was raised in Pittsburg, KS. My grandparents opened up the first non-segregated pool in the 1950’s, then added 18 holes a couple of years later. As a family, we were required to work all positions in the club. I am so excited to pass on this knowledge to our staff. I want to give you a small glimpse of what we have been planning during this first week of transition… Beginning Friday, June 2nd: Now serving FREE bread with all dinner service. We are also working on updating our wine, beer and cocktail list. Starting In June: We have implemented a Kid’s Club. Dates are June 16th, 17th and 24th. Open to ages 5-10 and is limited to 20 children. Only $25.00, this will Include a snack, drink, daycare, and activities. Once we grow, we can adjust ages. Beginning July 1st: Every other Saturday we will be entertaining “Adults Only” Dinners. Reservations and Club attire will be required. Downstairs poolside we will be open to families. July: We will be opening “Pearl’s Pastries". Pearl is our personal Pastry Chef. This will be a coffee and pastry bar open to all Cramer Mountain families. This will be open from 6am-9am, TuesdaySaturday. I am very excited about this summer and the upcoming festive season. I have dedicated each restaurant staff member to focus on an area of the membership. We will be creating activities and pairing them with food, beverage, and entertainment. This includes Parents Night Out, Nighttime MGA & LGA games and parties, Kids Club, Live Entertainment, Card/Bunco gatherings, Parent’s Morning Out, Father and Son dinners, Mother and Daughter Dates, Etiquette classes, New Member Mixers, and lastly, Cramer Mountain Fest!! Check your emails, we will have more details to follow! I am thrilled to be leading this team. Thank you for supporting this club and I look forward to meeting everyone!
