A Message From Your General Manager

It’s hard to believe that the summer is already winding down, but there are still many fall activities headed this way. Unfortunately, our pool season will end on Labor Day weekend. We are having a Family Luau on Saturday, September 2nd and our Labor Day Scramble Golf tournament.

September is always an exciting month as we gear up for the upcoming Ladies and Men’s Member Guest events Another great event on the calendar is the 7th annual Woman in Pink that we enjoy have always enjoyed hosting Debbie Dunlap along with the LGA really put a lot of hours prior to the day to make it better every year I invite all of our members to come out and play golf, sign up for the tennis, pickleball and golf clinics, come have lunch, make bids at the silent auction, and enter to win in the raffle drawings to help support this great cause.

Eric and Chef Danny will continue to delight our members with weekend specials and our new menu will also roll out in September. There are some superb additions to the menu that I know will be welcomed by everyone. If you are thinking about a holiday party, it’s never too early to secure a date to assure you have your desired time and day

A Membership Survey will be sent out in the near future Please take the time to read, complete, and return The surveys allow the Board and management to determine areas that you as a member have concerns. Some may think they are not utilized but they certainly are and continue to be an important tool in improving our club.

Best of luck to all our Cramer Mountain kids on another great year and we look forward to seeing you around the club!

To become the best family club in the region and offer a wide range of amenities for our members to enjoy, while being fiscally responsible for the long-term viability of the club.

There will be member play on the course all day, so book a tee time. All golfers playing that day will also have the chance to enter our closest to the pin on all par 3s. We will also have golf clinics, tennis and pickleball clinics, a putt-putt challenge, silent auction, and a raffle! All proceeds will go directly to the Woman in Pink. It’s a great cause, so be sure to stop by.

The Ladies Member-Guest is scheduled for September 23rd. We are asking all ladies that would like to participate to contact the golf shop or register online. We have a great event planned that day.

September 28th the Men’s Member-Guest begins. We already have a waiting list, but you are still able to sign up You never know if someone may have to drop out at the last minute, so be sure to put yourself on the wait list

I am looking forward to a great month and hope to see you all getting some golf in!

See you on the course!

Tennis News

It hasn’t felt like fall yet on the courts, hopefully it is right around the corner The US Open is in full swing in the Big Apple, hope you’re checking some of the matches out! Keep checking out the calendar as well, plenty of tennis and pickleball activities over the fall Afterschool groups and lessons are getting started as well as men’s and ladies fall quads The singles ladder continues to run through September, plenty of time to get your challenge matches in to prepare for the Top of the Mountain Tourney later in October. We had a great meetup at the Winston-Salem Open, a fun Tennis, Pizza, Movie Night, and hard fought Back to School Pickleball Brawl in August, looking forward to what September has in store for us… I know of one big event we are looking forward to on Sept 16th, the Take a Swing against Breast Cancer, go ahead and start signing up for some of your options provided on that one!

As a reminder, please remember to book your court times online through the court reservation dashboard on the club website. That goes for the hard court area as well for pickleballers and basketballers so we can keep track of numbers and don’t run into conflicts. Also, members are welcome to bring a guest to play, just note it when booking the court reservation, as there is a $5 guest fee per booking, thanks for your attention to these policies!

Restaurant Updates

Happy September! Yeah, I can’t believe it myself, where did summer go?! But not to worry, with autumn right around the corner you can expect to see a new menu roll out for lunch and dinner that will feature more seasonal items. I do apologize ahead of time as there are a couple member favorites that are rolling off the new menu but take it as an opportunity to try something new. Chef and his team worked hard on the changes that we believe you all will love.

We are starting to move into our busy season around the restaurant with the club events and private events so if you would like to look into utilizing the facility, please do not hesitate to send me an email

The Men’s Championship was a great opportunity for us to demonstrate just how far the operation has come here at the restaurant We look forward to doing more events like that moving forward and can’t wait for our clubs Ladies & Men’s Member-Guest! Just a reminder, if you have not already, please make sure you mark your calendars for our annual Christmas Party which will be on December the 2nd.
