我們是誰? WHO ARE WE? PROJECT SPACE (香港註冊慈善團體編號91/12387) ，由一班熱心發展義務及慈善工作的青年及專業人士所成立。 PROJECT SPACE (Hong Kong Registered Charitable Institution Ref: 91/12387), was founded by a group of passionate young students and professionals who dedicated efforts in charity and volunteer services.

使命 OUR MISSIONS

我們相信，每一個小孩子也是十分重要的。我們希望見到每個小孩子都有合適、美好的成長環境，擁抱未來。可是，社會上有無數的貧窮兒童及家庭，未必能生活於適切及衛生的居所，甚至缺乏基本的生活所需。透過組織慈善及義工活動，以愛心接觸不同的家庭，本會並希望協助有需要的兒童及家庭建立美好、安全、衛生的居住空間及生活居所。

We believe, every child is very important. We are eager to see that every child can

have a suitable and decent environment to grow and embrace future with hope. However, there are numerous underprivileged children and family in the society. They are unable to live in a suitable and hygienic living space, some even lack basic and essential living factors. Through organizing charity event and volunteer work, we are keen on contacting different families. We aim at helping children and family in poverty, to help them build a decent, safe, sustainable living environment.

我們的工作 OUR WORK

在本港，很多居住於城市中的家庭無法負擔一個安全及衛生的居住空間。本會接觸的個案中，很多家庭長期居住於劏房、貨櫃屋和帶有安全或衛生問題的居所，有時，可能是擠迫問題、家庭經濟問題、蟲患等種種原因，嚴重影響小朋友及家庭健康和成長。自2014年起，本會透過與本地綜合家庭服務中心合作及支援下，舉辦小型家居改善服務。本會之小型家居改善服務受到資助，撥款予其中兩項目:「鐵皮小孩家居改善計劃」及「小型家居改善計劃」。於2015年6月，已有超過30戶家庭登記，我們派出多名義工及專業人士(包括社工、維修技工、學生、室內設計專員等等)，支援有需要家庭。服務包括義工探訪、清潔、搬運雜物及油油、購置基本家具、除蟲、重置空間等。本計劃正在發展，並積極籌備更多資源，希望帶給有需要之家庭一個改善生活的機會。

Local Home Improvement Service

In Hong Kong, there are numerous urban families who cannot afford to live in a safe and hygienic living space. In some cases, there are serious overcrowding, family financial problem, and insects’ problem. All this factors made children lack a healthy living space to grow.Starting from 2014, under the support from local integrated family services center, Project Space held small scaled home improvement services. Our services have been funded for two projects: namely ‘Project Space for Squatter Kids-Home Improvement Program’ and ‘Project Space for Container Box Kids’. Til Jun 2015, our project have over 30 registered families. By delivering numerous volunteers and professional experts (including social workers, technicians, university students and interior work design professionals … etc), the project supported families in needs. Our service included also volunteer visit, janitor work, pest control, painting and purchasing basic home goods …etc. Our project is undergoing expansion, we are also preparing more resources, in order to provide an opportunity for a better living for those families in need.

已介83歲之李先生坐在床上，他的背剛背向一堵白色

的牆，牆上可見斑駁的被打掉的木蝨及血跡。李先生回顧他與太太住在寧靜而破舊的深水埗廉租屋的日子。 “我猜這就是我餘下的生活，”說罷，聳了聳瘦小的肩膀。但這裡並不安靜，這天剛有十多名員工從太古集團派出的義工，去到李鄭屋村單位作清潔及滅蟲服務，十多名義工正協助PROJECT SPACE，一個嘗試協助本地居民改善居住環境之慈善組織，作社區義工服務。 “這不只是有關清潔工作，這是去和他們交談 - 尤其是老人 - 讓他們知道有人真的關心他們…” 太古集團一名義工瑪吉說。瑪吉和她的同事移動了李先生所有的衣服和被褥，裝入塑料袋和裡面撒上去污粉。然後，他們嘗試清除在內的跳蚤和臭蟲，開展了徹底的除蟲和清潔… (詳細故事請參閱: http://www.scmp.com/news/hong-kong/article/1660915/swire-volunteers-get-their-handsdirty-killing-bedbugs-run-down-flats)

Eighty-three-year-old Lee sits on his bed, his back to a dirty white wall spotted with squished bedbugs and

the blood they sucked, as he recounts the often quiet days he and his wife spend at their dilapidated public housing flat in Sham Shui Po. "I guess this is what's left of life," he said, shrugging his skinny shoulders. But it was far from quiet as Lee spoke, with a dozen employees from Swire bustling around debugging and cleaning flats at Lei Cheng Uk Estate for free, in collaboration with Project Space for Squatter Kids, a small NGO that tries to improve the living environment at old flats and subdivided housing units. "It's not just about the [cleaning work]; it's to go and talk to them - especially the elderly - so they know someone actually cares for them…" said Maggie Tam, a volunteer from Swire. Tam and her colleagues removed all the clothes and bedding from each flat, stuffed the items into plastic bags and sprinkled cleaning powder inside. 本會積極招募義工進行義工服務，並製作網上義工登記表格，讓有興趣人士可登記成為義工。本年度本會新登記義工為15名，總服務時數超過達500小時。本會更同時獲頒成為社會福利署義務工作統籌課之義工運動參與機構。在企業義工方面，透過企業太古集團義工隊及專業滅蟲公司BURROWS之專家協助下，我們更舉辦社區義工服務日，為有需要家庭進行滅蟲服務。

義工服務 Volunteer Service

Project Space actively recruit volunteers and establish online volunteer enrolment form. This allowed interested parties to enroll and become volunteer directly.

Yearly 15 volunteers newly enrolled to Project Space, where the total service hour exceeded over 500 hours. Meanwhile, Project Space have granted with Awards of Participating Organization of “Volunteer Movement”, as organized by the Volunteer Service, Social Welfare Department. For corporate volunteering, with the collaboration and support by Swire Group and professional support from Pest Control company, BURROWS Limited, we have also launched corporate volunteering with pest control work for local families.

資源及發展 RESOURCES AND DEVELOPMENT 2014年，本會成功獲南華早報聖誕老人慈善基金會贊助「鐵皮小孩家居改善計劃」，並同時成功列入香港社會服務聯會「惠施‧慈善機構」。

2015年3-5月份，「鐵皮小孩家居改善計劃之申延計劃」獲得南華早報聖誕老人慈善基金會再次批發資助 23萬元，計劃申延至2016年尾，預算將會有共數120戶有需要家庭受惠。同年，我們亦獲團體意大利婦女聯會資助本會之小型家居改善服務，讓個別有需要家庭可以按需要申請額外津貼。本年本會更邀請了多個團體成為專業顧問，以擴展及優化本會之慈善服務，其中包括李潔瑩會計師服務、巴路士專業滅蟲服務、順強水電工程公司等，希望凝聚更多個人及社區力量作慈善事務。

In 2014, Project Space was successfully granted by Operation Santa Claus Foundation (South China Morning Post), for a project called ‘Project Space for Squatter Kids-Home Improvement Project’. At the same year, we also become a Listed Wise Giving Charity, by Hong Kong Council of Social Services.

In 2015 Mar-May, ‘Project Space for Squatter Kids-Home Improvement Project’, was granted with extra fund of 230 thousand Hong Kong dollars, and project period extended to end of 2016. It is estimated that there will be total 120 needy families be benefited. In the same year, we also received organization sponsor from the Italian Women’s Association for the Home Improvement Project. The fund received will provide individual families an additional allowance for home improvement. In this year, our agency invited several professional consultative bodies to support and help furnish our charitable services. They are Li Kit Ying, CPA (Practicing), Burrows Limited (Professional Pest Control Services), Shun Keung Electrical Works (Registered Minor Works Contractors)…etc. We wish to gather more energy from individual and community to furnish the charity work.
