You’re an ambitious, capable student who is approaching one of the most important decisions you’ve ever made: where to attend college. (Kind of a big deal.)
The good news? You know yourself. (Really!) You know what you like – and what you don’t. You have an innate sense of what matters to you.
More good news: at Meredith, you’ll take that raw self-knowledge and turn it into a plan for the life you want to lead. We’ll help you discover exactly what makes you strong, and how to use your strengths in the most effective ways possible.
Come to Meredith. Find out what makes you strong.

REAL-WORLD LEARNING Applying
classroom learning in a real-world setting through internships, study abroad, conducting research, participating in clubs and organizations, and serving in your community brings depth to your academic experience. It can also help you discover, define, or reaffirm your career choice by trying out what you’re studying.
STRONGPOINTS® is an advising and personal coaching program that will prepare you for the life you want to lead once you graduate – and it’s available at no cost to all students. Here’s how it works:
Step 1: Identify your top strengths.
Step 2: Work with faculty and staff advisors to develop and make the most of your strengths.
Step 3: Apply your strengths to your academic goals, graduate school applications, experiences, financial plans, and career choices.
Step 4: Continue to use your strengths throughout your life – research shows that people who play to their strengths are more likely to thrive, feel confident, and achieve their goals.
YOUR STRENGTHS ARE INNATE. UNIQUE. AND APPLICABLE. WE’LL TEACH YOU HOW TO USE THEM AND HELP YOU SET THE STAGE FOR A SUCCESSFUL, FULFILLING LIFE.

INTERIOR DESIGN MAJORI had amazing opportunities to network as a designer. There’s a local chapter of a professional organization that allowed us to go into the community and be part of projects. To see exactly how a structure is built, or to see how to space plan in a building is very important because you can’t do everything on paper. Meredith offered us the opportunity to see the real thing, and that helped tremendously with understanding interior design.”
