You will be inspired to use your crockery and teapots, linen and fresh flowers to entertain friends for an elegant get-together! This hands on course has you participating in putting together sweet and savoury finger food as well as creating refreshing and pretty non-alcoholic drinks. RUNNING YOUR OWN MARKET STALL Tutor: Cathy Hopper Dates: Wed October 30th Time: 10-12pm Cost: $30 Did you know that you have only 5 – 10 seconds to attract the attention of a customer as they walk by your stand? This workshop focuses on how you can effectively create a market stall that is visually appealing with your own homemade or home grown items. Learn how to bring in the customers and more importantly, discover how to prepare for those busy market days! Each person can bring in a sample of their wares for us to look at. Cathy has run successful craft market stalls in Darwin at weekly night markets, as well as Darwin Craft Fairs and the monthly Ballarat Bridge Mall markets with her Jam Business. A traditional block, use 3 or 5 colours, or make it scrappy, each block is completed and quilted, before the quilt is put together, therefore you can make the quilt as big as you want. This low impact, stress reducing physical exercise helps you maintain health and harmony in mind and body. Each class is structured to allow participants to – gently warm-up, ease into movements that require concentration, co-ordination of hands, feet and breathing, and to end the class with a gentle cool down routine. Participants are encouraged to learn and gain strength at their own pace during the class.
