TERM 1 PROGRAM ~ 2015 2015 Volunteer Training Program
Meredith Integrated Community Hub
In 2015 Meredith Community Centre and the Golden Plains Shire are working together to bring you a range of programs aimed the needs of volunteer in our community. The Volunteer Training Program is open to all volunteers in Golden Plains Shire. Whether you’re from a community volunteer, community group, sports club or committee of management, these training sessions are designed to further develop your skills and provide support in your role. We encourage you to take advantage of the opportunities available. We look forward to seeing you throughout the year.
We are excited to be watching the progress of the new building which will be home to the Meredith Kindergarten and our own Occasional Care Service as well as some new office facilities for the Centre. The Hub adjoins our building and will provide us with the opportunity to add additional programs and services for the local community. The projected completion date is May 2015. Meanwhile we are operating out of the house at 5 Russell Street so make sure you come in to see us at our cosy temporary home.
