Kiwi designers’ deal with salon giant

wo of New Zealand's most promising designers will now show at NZ Fashion Week after securing a sponsorship deal with salon giant Wella Professionals. Amy-Rose Goulding of Julian Danger and Shuai Zhang of ITZME will team up with the brand in a runway show with some of the world's top fashion media, international buyers and industry guests in attendance. The partnership event will combine beautifully tailored and commercially exciting garments from the pair of carefully selected designers, who will present their overall vision for autumn/winter 2016 under a collaboration of striking hair trends constructed by the Wella team.

President Obama’s vacation home for sale

he Martha's Vineyard home where President Obama and family spent their 2013 summer vacation is for sale at US$22.5 million. Originally built in 1961 on ten acres, the house had a complete redesign in 2006 as a light-filled contemporary residence similar to the Obama winter vacation homes in Hawaii. ith a dynamic personality, natural business acumen,
tireless positivity and a wide smile never far from
flashing, Lynette McFadden is a leader in the field of
Christchurch business women. Since 1994, when she embarked on her career in real estate, Lynette (‘Polly’ to her friends) has earned an enviable reputation as an absolute professional and inspiring mentor. Along with her husband John McFadden she runs the Harcourts’ Gold Papanui office on a daily basis. They were the first Harcourts’ NZ duo to be inducted into the Harcourts’ Hall of Fame. Lynette was ranked among the top Canterbury salespeople and, with her interpersonal skills and work ethic, she has mentored and coached many of the Harcourts’ Gold consultants to outstanding results. She has been nominated for Maori Businesswoman of the Year (Ngati Tama, Te Ati Awa, Te Atihauni a Paparangi), had her story told in two books, accepted various public speaking engagements and presented at two international Harcourts’ conferences on leadership and achievement. What you may not know is that Lynette has carved this very successful career from humble working class roots…
You come from a traditional Maori family. What led you into the world of real estate? I’d been doing up houses with my husband and our real estate agent inspired me, as did encouragement from John. My folks were supportive, but worried about me leaving nursing. Taking a risk and launching the Papanui Harcourts office had its challenges. Did you envisage this bold move would lead you to the success you now enjoy? No. We started with 5 agents, 17 listings and a massive loan. Today there are 5 offices, over 90 people and a huge reputation for excellence. It is a very competitive market. What qualities do you need to succeed? Do what you say you are going to do – because so many people don’t. Try not to take rejection personally. There will be plenty of it. Have a plan. Smile. Your husband joined you in real estate after two years. What are the strengths of your partnership? I consider it a privilege to work alongside John. We have complementary skills, specific and different roles and we communicate well with each other. Plus I fancy him.

Real estate has opened up a world of possibility for me and my family.
The real estate business is very demanding. Do you turn your phone off and take time out very often? Rarely off and if I don’t answer it, it’s because I can’t find it in my handbag! On a more personal note, what is your favourite item of clothing? A black tuxedo jacket that was made for me 8 years ago.
Looking back what were the biggest obstacles you have had to overcome? The biggest obstacles I’ve faced were trying to operate our business in the period including both big earthquakes and the next 18 months. I also struggled when our business partner of 10 years decided to leave. What do you love most about the real estate industry? I love the fact I’ve made a difference to the lives of people I work with and those I’ve worked for. Real estate has opened up a world of possibility for me and my family. What is your key role within Harcourts’ Gold Papanui on a daily basis? My key roles are marketing, auction, high performance coaching and ‘magic’ (also known as making things special). What are your comments on the current property market in Christchurch? Dynamic and diverse are the terms that come to mind. This includes the emergence of completely new categories of properties for sale. For example “As is – Where is”, or uninsured homes. There’s also massive redevelopment in the inner city and strengthened property values throughout the region. Finally realtors must know their stuff. This is also a complex market place.
What is your proudest achievement? My marriage and my sons. What were you doing the last time the thought went through your mind, “I shouldn’t be doing this”? Looking on the internet for clues about who is going to get killed off next in Game of Thrones. If you had a crystal ball, what would you expect the property market in Christchurch to look like in five years’ time? My crystal ball broke a few years ago and I prefer to interpret the market than imagine it, but here goes: Ÿ A resurgent and dynamic inner city with a wide range of occupants enjoying apartment living Ÿ A lift in the upper-end price bracket consolidated by the values of significant rebuilds and new builds in blue chip suburbs like Fendalton Ÿ More rental properties and first-time landlords Ÿ Fewer real estate consultants and less council red tape Ÿ A proud positive local population

Beauty There is a surprising mixture of devastation, beauty and serenity in the nine photographs taken in Christchurch just after the February 2011 earthquake, which are now on exhibition in the main atrium at The Tannery.
“It’s acknowledging what the city used to be like by showing what was left,” says Christchurch photographer Sabin Holloway, who had been given access to the red-zone area in the centre of the city that had been sealed off. Eight of the nine photographs were taken within the CBD and another one at Lyttelton. “All the photos meant something to me. I had worked or lived in these places and the photos became personal. I found it quite hard to photograph them. I was in shock. My head didn’t

The pictures include a cherub in Poplar Lane; the front door of Shands Emporium, which has since been moved from Hereford Street to Manchester Street; Stranger’s Lane, at the corner of High and Lichfield Streets; and naked mannequins hanging inside the window at Plume, the fashion designer in High Street. “I started taking the photos because I was going to Waiheke Island to see my sister and wanted to show her what had happened to the city. I then continued to get passes to enter the red zone. I was doing some salvage work there, but always carried a camera,” says Sabin.

“I didn’t realise then that there were no other photographers allowed in to document the area. It’s a shame when you think about it now, because lots of those buildings are gone. I’ve got 3000 to 4000 photos. It’s now four-and-a-half years since the quake and lots of people have been encouraging me to show them for a long time. It was Alasdair Cassels, owner and developer of The Tannery, who has pushed me to do it.” Large prints of the photographs, measuring 1.35m by 0.9m, are suspended in The Tannery atrium and will be on display into September.

howbiz Christchurch is presenting Monty Python's Spamalot, a musical lovingly ripped off from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, in the Isaac Theatre Royal, 4 – 12 September, 2015… Spamalot will make audiences laugh-a-lot, sing-a-long-a-lot, dress-up-in-silly-costumes-a-lot and revel in the “glorious, irresistible silliness” of the most infectiously funny musical of the millennium. What was a whimsy at the time became a gem of a weekend in a muddle of mundane wintery weeks.
wallpaper, drapes and antique mirrors surround you, with the comfort of all the mod cons that are strategically ‘invisible’. The hosts Lyndsay Jobin, general manager; and Paul Jobin, private chef, encourage you to embrace the feeling of The Homestead being your own. To make use of the elegant rooms, lounging furniture, candle-ware, beautiful glassware and silver; to pick some salad leaves or lemons from the garden and live like it’s 1884 and all of your needs are taken care of. Indeed you could easily let your imagination wander to an historic murdermystery fantasy. Could a mysterious history have been formed at one point? And would the assailant have been Colonel Mustard with the candlestick in the dining room, Professor Plum in the butler’s pantry or perhaps Mrs White in the swimming pool and spa area by one of the two outdoor fire settings? Each of the people in the group I was with experienced The Homestead in their own various ways: choosing to have an energetic game of tennis, a meander in the vegetable garden, a stroll along overhung paths or simply some rest and respite from a busy week. Our dinner was Annandale’s “We create, you serve” option and chef Paul Jobin had created a delicious three course dinner which was left in our fridge with detailed instructions on heating and plating. The wine list at Annandale is extensive and won’t disappoint, or you can take your own favourites if you prefer.
After banqueting at the enormous dining table with silver candelabra flickering and fires roaring we retired to the library where festivities continued long into the night. There was something about having the Homestead to ourselves which allowed us to relax entirely and enjoy the company of friends. Next morning Lyndsay and Paul picked us up in their four-wheel drive vehicles to take us on an expedition on the farm. Winding roads, steep drops and stunning views made it an invigorating morning, before returning to cook our gourmet breakfast. A turn of croquet, a final stroll around the gardens and all too soon it was time to tear ourselves from a weekend that will linger long in our memories as a refreshing fix of luxurious country life, all just an hour from the city.

ife is about slowing down and enjoying the moment. This is something you cannot help but do when on a canal boat in rural France. I have just completed a one week journey in the fabulous region of Burgundy and my choice of area did not disappoint. Surrounded by a lush landscape of vineyards and quaint villages we

discovered all that this region has to offer. Travelling at a speed of no more than 10km per hour you can glide along the canals, stop to explore villages and local chateaux all from the comfort of your floating home. Knowing our route would take us to the village of Chagney in central Burgundy I took the opportunity to book one of the top rated restaurants in all of France. 'Maison Lameloise' rated 3 stars by Michelin, has long been a member of Michelin with its first star being awarded back in 1926. Our six course degustation menu took just over five hours to complete. With
dishes comprising of lobster served in a nectar of tomato and strawberries and foie gras encased in thin strips of potatoes, our taste buds were awakened with each bite and we were taken to new places discovering combinations and flavours never before tasted. Each course was expertly matched with local wines, proudly recommended by our sommelier. For me life is about these small delights that create memories that will last a lifetime. Travelling gets you to these places so you can explore not just the sights, but also the smells and tastes of a country. Bon appétit!

Their first act was to modernise the front façade with a series of aluminium fins which create an interesting pattern and give the building a strong presence and modern look. The retention of some original building elements not only connects to what was on the site before, telling a story about the history of the building, but is also a costeffective way to create a new contemporary look. To enhance the sense of arrival, the low height entrance was visually opened up to two storeys, with the construction of a Corten clad “portal”. Under this on the ground floor a new wind lobby and glazed doors open the interior up to the street to attract not only house guests but the public, critical for the success of food and beverage in modern hotels.

WHEELS It's 9am and Christchurch's new mobile hair salon is on the road. Salon M makes its way around the city, from Kaiapoi to Tai Tapu, with hairdresser Emily McDonald at the helm of the customised salon on wheels.
W
hile hairdressing itself is nothing new for Emily, the mobile salon is. Returning home from working in Australia and with a long history of hairdressing in Christchurch, the timing was perfect for Emily to join forces with her brother KJ and his wife Angela to start the new business. Mobile hair salons are a big thing in the United States and across Asia, with the US styled salons often in large motor homes. Emily, KJ and Angela were looking for something a little simpler a vehicle that was easy to park in a city driveway and that would provide a great space for a salon.

Six months of research began to source the right vehicle and ttings, with the layout of the salon taped out across their kitchen oor to trial it out for size and shape. The Toyota Hiace Jumbo has been modi ed speci cally to t Emily's needs a campervan lid was added, and the interior tted with hair and hand basins, two cutting bays, water tank storage, a refrigerator, and a generator attached to the rear. KJ's hand can be seen in much of the interior design, installing the small details such as mirrors and door locks. I wanted everything to be perfect, says Emily, with the décor having the clean, light feel of an inner city salon, and Emily's favourite aspect a touch of bling in the bench tops. As well as cuts and colours Salon M also o ers beauty therapy including waxing and tinting. We are totally equipped for everything. The salon is proving popular with a range of

Working in partnership with families to support the children in their care to reach their full potential, is the foundation of the learning philosophy at Sovereign Star Nursery and Preschool. Every day's programme and each child's assessment are designed with this outcome in mind. When you walk through the centre you can see this in practice. Each child's name is displayed on the walls along with the goals they want to achieve. t's thanks to the staff's professionalism and passion about high-quality early childhood education that this new Kaiapoi nursery and preschool has grown considerably over the past few months, more quickly than even the management expected. RANGIORA Meanwhile in Rangiora the Pak'nSave Supermarket and petrol station is brightening up Lineside Road with its yellow, along with Rangiora's second set of tra c lights. There are currently four major constructions taking place on the High St with Lamberts building's brickwork showing how tting it is for the main street. Once the two buildings either side of Conway Lane are complete nearer to Christmas, the Council will remove the temporary shops. The Farmers' site is also starting to see construction begin now with an opening planned for this time next year. Winnie Bagoes and Joe's Garage are also really starting to take shape with both racing to open in time for spring. Woven into Trenzseater's interior design work is the craftsmanship of select European brands, all recognised for the specialist products that they create. “We have distributed Eichholtz for a number of years now – it is the pinnacle of classic, elegant design,” says Ben. “They have a grand scale of objects, lighting and accessories.” The quality of each piece is evident in the detailing of their furniture, lighting objects and accessories which include
table lamps with crystal bases, and an array of nickel pieces from heavy trays to clocks. Each design is artisan crafted using traditional skills, such as casting copper and glass blowing, giving them a hand finished nature. A new collection for Trenzseater is Buster + Punch lighting. ANTIQUE HUNTING Ferry Antique Centre's large new premises at 282 Ferry Road is representative of the store's growing range and increasing popularity.

stablished in 2009, Ferry Antique Centre started as somewhat of a “fluke” when Sue Wootton came across the previous premises at 598 Ferry Road. “I pointed out to the building owner who was there at the time that it would make a great antique store,” Sue says. “A couple of weeks later I went back and told him I was serious, that I was prepared to do it and knew some like-minded dealers.” Yet over the following six years the collection – sourced by five registered antique dealers – outgrew the space and in May this year moved into the turquoise building at the Moorhouse Avenue end of Ferry Road which Sue describes as “bigger, brighter, warmer and with plenty of off-street parking”. isker Contracting take the bones of a building and create a high end finished look, evolving from a decorating company to also include complete build finish and project management. “We can take a build, renovation or repair from stud to finish, both inside and out,” says owners Glenn Wisker and Peter Supyk, who each have decades of experience behind them. Glenn founded the business 25 years ago, gaining a reputation across the city based on the quality of their work, including luxury homes as well as general residential properties. It was this reputation that led to Peter and Glenn working together, after Peter approached Wisker Contracting to decorate his own home. “We went for a coffee and we just hit it
off,” says Peter, who had previously owned a large plastering company in the United Kingdom. Peter's plastering skills fit well with Glenn's own decorating expertise, with the business expanding after the earthquake to include project management of complete home renovations. They also have a similar view on the desired outcome of any work they undertake, with customer satisfaction and a job well done top of the list. This means not only a great finish but also excellent communication with their clients and respect for the home they are working in. Sustainability is imperative to the business, who acknowledge that painting has long been a dirty business when it comes to the environment. “While we're just one small company,
we're committed to taking full responsibility for our environmental impact,” says Glenn. “It's a journey, and we have a way to go, but we've started on a process of continual improvement.” Glenn developed a customised washing facility for rollers and brushes, called Wiskaway, which uses recycled water in order to reduce water contamination and water wastage. The system works by containing the washing water, with a chemical process used to deflock the paint. ENERGY EFFICIENCY The perception that an energy efficient home is too expensive to build is a myth, says Christchurch-based architectural designer Bob Burnett. And it's a myth he and others in the industry aim to debunk with the SUPERHOME movement.
The SuperHome movement aims to inspire the building of 1000 homes that achieve a HomeStar rating between 6 and 10 stars.
T
here are currently two demonstration homes being developed by Burnett in Christchurch's Church Square that he has designed to 10 Star HomeStar standards. The homes are due for completion at the end of this month, and one was recently formally awarded 10 Star HomesStar Design certification by the NZ Green Building Council. Burnett says the homes distinguish the SUPERHOME movement from general talk about green building, as people can see the process of building affordable green homes and the results. Burnett says most of the materials and technology, including laminated veneer lumber framing, solar photovoltaics, reclaimed heat ventilation systems, infloor hydronic heating, and substantial insulation, are fairly standard – they've just been put together better. He installed the insulation himself, because he doesn't have trust in the quality of workmanship delivered by NZ insulation installers. Even one gap in the insulation will compromise thermal and energy performance, he says, and a
recent report by the Building Research Agency of New Zealand showed that 75 per cent of the country's homes had faulty installations. The SUPERHOME movement has so far gained support from the central government, Christchurch City Council and a number of builders, developers, designers, architects, investors and materials' manufacturers. affordability, earthquake resilience, thermal comfort and a healthy indoor environment are also key elements to what makes a SuperHome. Ultimately the aim of the industry-led initiative is to “promote and normalise” the idea of energy-efficient sustainable homes through open source sharing of design and construction information. “We want to get people to understand
it doesn't have to be complicated,” Burnett says. These [demonstration projects] are modest, affordable homes.” He would like to see a similar concept applied to homes as is legislated for cars in NZ, where a vehicle displays both a price for the car and the fuel cost to run it. This, he says, would make it clear to people that running costs are a major factor in home affordability. To assist with this, the movement currently has three tools under development that the central government's Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment is keen to promote. 1. A dashboard-type digital tool with an infographic of a home showing what initiatives can be implemented, the costs they might add in terms of building and the corresponding benefit in terms of energy bill reductions. 2. A mortgage calculator that shows users the degree to which mortgage terms and interest costs can be reduced if energy bill savings are put towards additional mortgage payments. 3. The degree to which a home's value as an asset is increased by various sustainability initiatives. Burnett says that this concept is well understood in the US and Europe, where research has shown an energy-efficient home is worth between 10 and 20 per cent more on resale than a business as usual home. The return on investment on a badly built home, he says, is compromised by issues including mould and condensation as well as poor performance energy-wise. Burnett says that discussions around rebuilding the city more sustainably have been largely a “talkfest” where “very little real stuff happens on the ground. The Church Square

August in the garden is a month when we can start to think about spring and the tasks to come. Although the days are noticeably getting longer there is still plenty of cold and frosty weather to come.
M
any winter tasks can be completed, like pruning and winter spraying. Moving deciduous fruit trees and other trees and shrubs should be done by the end of the month. As ground conditions improve soil can be dug over and compost dug in to prepare for planting and sowing in the vegetable garden. Lime and superphosphate may be applied to allow time for the soil to absorb it before planting and sowing in a few weeks' time.
Spring bulbs will beneďŹ t from a dressing of a potash fertiliser to improve owering and to strengthen stems. Watch for bud movement on the stone fruit in order to correctly time the copper spray to control leaf curl and brown rot. Complete pruning of soft fruits. Hardwood cuttings of currants and gooseberries from prunings may still be taken. Strawberry plants may be planted in the ground or in pots (pot grown will often fruit earlier). Tomato growing areas should be prepared now by digging in
compost and fertilisers and in some cases changing soil if disease has been a problem (especially in greenhouses). Seed sowing can be started in controlled areas like greenhouses, cloches and heated pads. DESIGNED FOR A SELECT GROUP While we initially questioned the need for a Subaru Legacy sedan with the jacked-up ride height of the Outback, we did fall for the Legacy 3.6X when we road tested it just over a year ago.

I
t was a car that didn't seem to serve a logical purpose, but worked remarkably well anyway. It was a car aimed at a tiny, tiny niche (people who want ground clearance, but don't want a wagon) that actually seemed to make sense when you drove it.

It also helped that it was basically a Legacy, which also meant it was just a good car to begin with. Now Subaru have extended the concept by making the Legacy X available with the smaller 2.5-litre fourcylinder boxer, opposed to the 3.6-litre six in the earlier car. The 2.5-litre engine pumps out 127kW of power and 235Nm of torque, compared with the 191kW/350Nm of the 3.6-litre six and is hooked up to Subaru's Lineartronic CVT transmission.
The net result of this is a car that is pretty much exactly the same as the sixcylinder car, but slower and it doesn't sound as good. But it also consumes considerably less fuel as a consequence – 7.9L/100km as opposed to the six's 10.3. The 2.5X is still a pleasantly Subaru-ish sedan, albeit without the 3.6's mid-range urge, but when the six-cylinder car only costs $3,000 more, we would probably choose the bigger-engined car's relaxed demeanour, superior performance and proper (albeit ageing) transmission.

Where the Lexus ES350 is the powerhouse of the newly re-introduced ES range, the ES300h is its smoother, quieter and far more economical hybrid brother. And, we have to say, probably more in keeping with the wonderfully serene – and traditionally Lexus – atmosphere created by the company's newest mid-size luxo-machine.

he new ES range is far more in the vein of the luxury LS than its more sporting-focussed siblings either side of it in the Lexus range; the IS and GS. And that makes it probably the most traditionally “Lexus-like” of all the current Lexii this side of the big LS. Our test ES300h was far more reserved than the bright red paint/white leather of our ES350 test car and was, in our opinion, far better for it. Some cars just suit subtlety better and the ES is one of those cars. As both our ES test cars were Limited specification, the only real difference was the powertrain. Where the ES350 scores
Toyota's ever-impressive 204kW 3.5-litre V8 hooked up to a six-speed automatic transmission, the ES300h gets a hybrid electric powertrain made up of a 2.5-litre Atkinson Cycle four-cylinder petrol engine and an electric motor with a combined output of 151kW, hooked up to a continuously variable transmission. This not only helps the ES drastically in a fuel consumption sense (5.5L/100km versus the 350's 9.5) it also makes the ES300h even smoother and quieter. Damn near silent in many situations. While it is down on power, the performance from the hybrid unit is more than acceptable, with the ES300h
scampering to the legal limit in 8.5 seconds, compared to the 350's 7.4 second time. The only time it really becomes noticeable that you have a CVT hiding in shame under the car is when you need to use the full travel of the throttle pedal and you are greeted with the usual desperate CVT-induced groan from the engine. Still, this is infrequent and shortlived, so hardly a deal-breaker. Even smoother and quieter than its more powerful sibling, the ES300h is pretty much the next best thing to a more-than-twice-the-price LS in terms of serenely comfortable motoring.

FANTASTIC PACKAGE WITH A
NEW FACE fibre-look trim. The new face is the biggest differentiator between this car and the old model which hasn't actually been available in New Zealand for a while now. What isn't changed (thankfully!) is the thoroughly fantastic package that sits under the swoop skin – the 195kW/360Nm four-cylinder turbo engine is still an absolute ripper that feels perfectly matched to the six-speed manual transmission (the only transmission the RS265 is available with), while the chassis that it all sits on is a beautifully balanced, razor-sharp thing of wonder.
There hasn't been a lot that has changed about the Renault Megane RS265 since we last drove it, but it is the sort of car that when a company asks you if you want to drive it again, you simply don't say no.

The RS265 is surprisingly comfortable, even at around-town speeds, but the lowslung ride height and awkward, highsided and heavily bolstered sports seats make it a literal pain in the derrière to climb in and out of and the lack of sensible daily practical touches – like cup holders - make it something that is far more enjoyable as a weekend fun car. Or, even better, a track day car. And that is where the true beauty and genius of the RS265 lies – it is a car you could easily drive out to a race track, spend the day thrashing it on the track and simply drive home again afterwards.

Downright The Jeep Wrangler is no stranger to us. In fact we would go as far as to say it is one of our all-time favourites, despite (or, indeed, perhaps even because of) its glaring – and, quite frankly, blatant – shortcomings as a road-going vehicle.
O
ff-road, however, it is utterly unbeatable, and this, along with its sheer charm and belligerent presence, make it downright loveable. The Overland is basically an up-spec, “luxury” model of the Wrangler Unlimited, adding 18-inch alloy wheels, a reversing camera, heated and electrically adjustable mirrors, bodycoloured guards, side steps, a body-coloured hard top, fog lamps, satellite navigation and a pumped up stereo to the big Wrangler’s rugged off-roadiness. Now, we completely understand the appeal of having a few luxury features in our car - ventilated seats are one of our favourite things ever. Except that the Wrangler is not really the sort of car that you would buy for that. Not that the Overland has ventilated seats, but you get the point.

Blingy new stuff aside, the Wrangler is still the big, loveable brute that we fell in love with on the legendary Rubicon Trail. The further off the sealed roads you go, the better it gets. That’s not to say it is bad on the road. Well… actually, yeah, it pretty much is. The thing about the Wrangler on the road, however, is that its very shortcomings – the unpolished, jiggly ride, the massive truck-like turning circle, the sheer lumbering bulk of the thing – serve to remind you just how damn good it is off the road. That means that every time you bounce up over a curb because of the massive turning circle or smack your head on the side window because the ride simply gets overwhelmed by the road, you can’t help but grin and enjoy the sheer rugged purposefulness of it all.

Mechanically, the Overland gets the same 209kW/347Nm 3.6litre petrol V6 as the Sport or Rubicon models (no diesel available here) and it is hooked up to a five-speed auto transmission, meaning that for such a big vehicle, it gets along remarkably well indeed. The thing about the Overland though is that it costs $64,990 in four-door Unlimited form, where for $62,990 you can get the seriously purposeful Rubicon model that adds all the good offroad bits like locking diffs, an electronic front sway bar disconnect system and a heavy duty Dana 44 front axle, among
other things. This would be the Wrangler we would buy. It takes the Wrangler from being incredible off-road to utterly staggering in what it can do and the ease with which it does it. The single most worrying thing about the Overland model is that if someone wants luxury in their Wrangler that suggests that it would go no further off-road than a drive-through window. And that would be a massive insult to the Wrangler – not to mention an utter waste – because the Wrangler is still one of the absolute best when the seal finishes.
