STUNNING HOME RENOVATION Stunning home renovation in Kent featuring a Sieger Slim Sliding Door and Sieger Lux Casement Door to maximise natural light. The secondary building to this home was rarely used until it was transformed into a modern and chic living space that is connected to the main home by a glass link. This project located in Kent uses a two pane Sieger Slim Sliding Door where both panes slide (3.4m wide x 1.8m tall) and a gable end window sits on top (3.4m wide x 1.6m tall) to create and entire glass wall that maximises natural light into the property and views out of it. A Sieger Lux Pivot Door was also used in a hinged casement configuration for another entrance point. The use of natural wood flooring and maximising the natural light through slim framed aluminium glazing systems gives the space a strong connection to the outdoors. The flush threshold of the Sieger Slim Sliding Door means that when the doors are open the internal living space is merged with the outdoors, providing a seamless transition between the two spaces.

The project was deigned and installed by Sieger’s glazing partner IQ Glass who also linked the external building to the original house with a thermally insulated, frameless glass link. Invisio structural glazing was used to achieve high thermal performance levels whilst maintaining a minimal design.
