A Message From Your LTG Redbulls, I am filled with both pride at all that we have accomplished together and sadness that the term is finally coming to a close. It has been a long but incredible journey for me over the past year as your Lt. Governor, and I'm sure each of you has gone through your own journey as well. In the end, I hope we are all able to say that we are proud of all of the service, fundraising, and spirit that this term has brought. It is finally time to say farewell to the term, but remember that we still have a few months of service to spend together before summer! And for the last time this term, please enjoy this amazing newsletter!

I love you, Redbulls!

A Message From Your News Editor Hey Redbulls! I can't believe this term is ending already. I hope you have all enjoyed reading this newsletter, because I know I've enjoyed making it! With that being said, in this month's edition of the Redbull Reader, you will find the usual club snapshots and service spotlights - we have some amazing pictures from Day of Service and several club fundraisers! We have a few more months ahead of us still, so keep stomping for service, Redbulls!

Best wishes,

Angela Chen

SERVICE SPOTLIGHT D37S at Day of Service

This year at Los Rancheros Kiwanis’ annual Day of Service, all the clubs from Division 37 South got together to make their own special service projects for different charities and organizations. With lots of service and kindness in the air, the event had an amazing environment full of wonderful people spending the day donating their time and efforts to others. I personally made superhero capes for kids at Rady Children’s Hospital, and at the end of the day we were all so excited to see all of our capes together and know that we were able to create a bright spot in the day of a few sick kids. Other clubs made hundreds of dog toys for the strays at the Humane Society, welcome home banners for veterans at a local shelter, and knitted hats for babies in the hospital. Overall, this event was an amazing experience as it is every year, and I am so glad to have been a part of it!

Del Norte Key Club at I Love A Clean San Diego At the I Love a Clean San Diego event, I helped clean up the Felicita Park! It’s a beautiful park in Escondido but full of trash. ILACSD is working to remove the trash not only to beatify SD but to reduce the waste that gets dumped into the Pacific Ocean. I had some free time over break and thought it was the perfect opportunity to do some good. I have also done many clean ups with ILACSD and they always do a fantastic job! At the event, I got to know some of the ILACSD staff and learned about their projects. I also met some of the park rangers and learned about the history of the park I was cleaning up! My favorite part of the event was the scenery. The park is beautiful and cleaning up felt like a little hike! I saw cools plants, waterfalls, and some Boy Scout projects! At the event, I learned what a watershed was! Apparently, I’m not very educated on our environment. I also learned that this park has been a center of activity since the 60s and in the 70s they started trying to reduce the harm that such activity was doing to the area. There was this one area of park benches and tables that was full of these little streamers. It was insane! I spent a solid 30 minutes in one spot just moving around mulch and picking up steamers. There was also a unicorn horn in this area. I suspect the culprit was a unicorn piñata.
