Message from the Lt. Governor!
Hey Redbulls! Welcome to the second newsletter of this term, but the first issue of the Red Bull-etin! I would like to thank you for the continuous support I’ve gotten so far. The month of May was pretty hectic with AP testing but congrats on wrapping up on the school years! A huge thank you to all the seniors that are graduating; we’re going to miss you so much! Hope to see you at the banquet for final farewells! <3 Yolanda Mai

Event Recap Miracle Mile of Quarters with Kiwanis!
This past month, many members volunteered at an event called Pugchella. Pugchella is put on by the Pug Rescue of San Diego, and every year they have a different theme. This year’s theme was Coachella, hence the name PUGchella. Our members helped at various stations at the event, which included tasks from greeting and welcoming people to signing up pugs for contests. They did this all while being surrounded by the cutest pugs. I am without a doubt that our club can’t wait to volunteer at the next Pug Party! -Nicole Duston, WV

I ended up helping for our school’s Philippine Culture Night to help my friend, the president of Kapamilya, and didn’t really know what to expect. I was completely clueless and anxious at first, but it ended up being one of my favorite service events. I think one of my favorite things about Key Club and being in Key Club is that it really gets me out of my comfort zone and makes me try out new things. I had no experience in tech or acting whatsoever before PCN and was extremely nervous about going on stage and being in charge of such a large event, but I absolutely loved it. I think it was also great that the other volunteers with me were able to learn and experience Filipino culture as well as some organizational and leadership skills. I really hope that this is an annual event that our club can volunteer at because it was really a great time. - Macy Manas, Del Norte Key Club
Thank you for all your service redbulls!!!

Project Eliminate! What is it? Through The Eliminate Project, Kiwanis International and UNICEF have joined forces to eliminate maternal and neonatal tetanus! In 13 countries around the world, maternal and neonatal tetanus (MNT) can quickly turn the joy of childbirth into tragedy.
Who does it affect? MNT is caused when tetanus spores, found in soil everywhere, come into contact with open cuts during childbirth. The disease strikes the poorest of the poor, the geographically hard to reach and those without health care.
How can I help? Throughout May 6-10, Key Club International participated in Eliminate Week where there were a series of challenges every day focused on raising awareness for MNT. However you can still donate here! http://sites.kiwanis.org/Kiwanis/en/theELIMINATEproject/ Give.aspx One of the days is the E-Lemon-Ate Challenge in which you eat a lemon to raise awareness for MNT!!
Check out @d26ndevils highlight labeled “Fun Times to see it in action!!!! P.S. These were little graphics I made for d26s and d27n!!!!
